You don't choose the carrier and country codes. Just use the default ones Sachesi provides.

Hi, I followed the steps. Download the apps. Then install forder.
Is it normal that its installing 32th ( out of 203) bar file, I have just realize that the message on my phone about "update is in progress via USB" is disappeared and the phone came back. And it seems the installation is stopped at this point.
    What should I do?
Try the install again. For some reason the communication broke down.

And you were meant to use the default carrier codes. You're not meant to put your own in. I can already see your carrier. These values are chosen on purpose

THX! Sachesi part is done. Q10 is rebooting. Hope everything will be fine!

Just one questions (only for my curiosity): what would happen if I just plug out the Q10 during the process, for example when the tool installing the 202th bar file out of 203? So I just would like to know where is the last point when this process could be broken safely without any bad consequences?

    Thanks for the report.
I'll look in to why it crashed. You can just restart the app and continue.

I have a problem updating to OS10.3.0.1418 on my Z10-STL100-2 coming from OS....1154. The 1154 version was installed using an autoloader. This time I tried the non-destructrive procedure via Sachesi. I followed the steps as outlined by the OP (Sachesi). Yesterday night I let the computer do its work (and noticed that the progress on my phone was stuck at 0%). This morning I woke up the phone and the udate didn't happen. I am trying again, as I write, but still the progress on my phone is stuck at 0%. However, according the the computer it is at file 111 of 203.

    I am running
    BB device manager 8.00.41
    Windows 7 on bootcamp
Sachesi produced an error when finished downloading the bar-files, about the size of the download.
Sachesi produced a "communication error" after I selected the installation folder with the OS. The error read "1 (connection refused) from an 192.168.....et cetera.

Anybody any idea why it appears to be not working?

    Edit:
It worked when I changed to MacOS, thanks benbraun332 for the hint. Obviously the root of the problem is not windows, but some settings. I can thing of three differences, that could be the cause of the difference between a succesful instal and a 'progress stuck at 0%' instal.
    (1) I noticed that one of my USB ports doesn't always work the way it should. Since I changed USB ports when I updated in MacOS, it could be a reason for the difference.
    (2) In windows I used BlackBerry Device manager with a setting were it does not mount the phone's drives. In MacOS, the drives were mounted.
    (3) In windows I used the 'autoselector' for USB connections in the phone's settings menu. When I changed to MacOS I changed this to "connect to Mac".
I hope this helps if someone else experiences this problem. I know I could have achieved the same result if I used Sachesi under windows and changed any (or all) of the 3 points that I mentioned.

Idk but just some simple troubleshooting why don't you try using the Mac version of Sachesi?

Authentication error, despite the name, has nothing to do with your password.
The error comes directly from your device and isn't anything I wrote in the code (which is why I don't make it more descriptive).
It basically means 'setup isn't complete yet'.

If setup isn't complete, you are not able to login to the device. Not having a password allows you to connect obviously, but then you cannot do anything on the device. Even something as simple as listing installed applications (which Sachesi does on start) will give 'authentication error'.

Your device is effectively useless for backups/restore/installing apps until this issue is resolved. On 10.3, there is a bug that I've already reported that prevents setup completing a second time. If you come across this bug (usually on purpose), then you need to wipe to resolve the issue.

    Edit:
A better description is available from HaTaX here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/.../2994714#M8549
Thx Sachesi! Finally got the Android apps working and it's all good! Thanks for being patient with everyone and answering the same questions a million times!

You had better try . . . a different IP address will be assigned to your device in Development Mode.

Hi this is normal, upon complete installation of 201 files your Z30 shall automatically reboot..

I'm excited for the update to 10.3.1.....However, I cannot get past the initial steps....I have tried multiple times to download the Windows version of Sachesi v1.9.5 (using chrome browser)...however, after I extract the files, Sachesi will not open or run! Any ideas? I am using an older computer still running Windows XP, could this be the problem? Thanks a ton in advance.

Recently released copies of Sachesi will not start on a PC running Windows XP with an old piece of embedded graphics hardware.

You cannot update to 10.3.1 with Sachesi currently anyway. Blackberry has only supplied autoloaders.
    Is there no error?

I have re installed the Android file and rebooted 20 times and I still cannot get the Android apps to work. I removed my password so it wouldn't interfere with the boot up, I removed Geotools and Custom LED out of boot up and still the same. I don't want to do a wipe. I have way too many Android apps. Maybe that is the problem. Too many apps??

XSacha do you think if I wait for the official 10.3.1 to hit the Z10 and I download it OTA it will fix my initial setup issue?
And I'll be able to sideload and stuff again?

Why did I ever use an autoloader? Sachesi is so much more time efficient. Just upgraded to 10.3.0.1418. Did take a couple tries to get all the files to download but even still, far much faster than autoloader.

Worked like a charm on my Z10! I'm amazed by the simple things that have been changed or updated on 10.3.

However, I tried to install it on my Z30, which is my daily driver, and had a pop-up warning me about the radio not being the right one for my Z30. What do I do in this case? I didn't complete the install. I have an STA 100-5 on an MNVO carrier piggybacking off the T-Mobile network and never had a problem with any leaks or upgrades. My understanding is that Rogers runs off the same frequencies as AT&T here in the States and only Wind uses the same frequencies as T-Mobile USA. Any help would be highly appreciated!
