Yes, if it's released for your carrier.
All production firmware will receive updates regardless of how it is installed.
    Thank you xsacha

Ok, so I downloaded these 2 files only from the 10.3.0.xxx package and installed them on my DAC:

    shell-10.2.1.155-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (sys.android.shell)
    android-10.2.1.155-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (sys.android)

Seems to have fixed the issue. Android apps do run now, although it seems like the first time I ran it, it took forever for the Android runtime to load (there was a blue bar running across the bottom of the screen). After that, the android apps load up quickly.

Also, it looks like I can install APK's now as well... All is good!

    shell-10.3.0.168-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

That's strange, the files I found had the older android bars.... I used Darcy's BB Tools to find them, but I guess it didn't grab the latest ones or I didn't use the correct settings even though I thought I was looking at the latest versions which is what I asked it to get. Then I used the Chrome Extension BB10 / PlayBook App Manager to install the 2 bars onto the phone. Either way it worked.

By the way, the reason I had to resort to Darcy's BB tools and the Chrome Extension installer is because Sachesi isn't working on my work computer (where I am now).... I have an old WinXP machine with on-board Intel GPU and it keeps complaining about OpenGL 2.0 even though I have the DLL's all in the installation folder. Otherwise I would have used Sachesi to install the 2 bar files. I tried downloading the Windows and WinXP versions, even older Sachesi's but none work on my work computer.

Maybe I'm stupid, but I thought the original question pertained to a z10 getting a non destructive upgrade to 10.3. All I've seen on the screenshots is Passport. I still haven't seen an answer to that question. I've tried to upgrade with the autoloader and I got the 10.3 on my phone, but when it restarted, I lose my apps and everything every single time I restart. So I believe I am or was missing a file. Now I have a z10 100-3, where and how can I get the non destructive 10.3 upgrade on sechasi?

Please tell me how you did this??? Do I have the wrong country code or something?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I didn't find it in the first few pages... Does it matter that my country and carrier are not correct? I don't want to end up with no service or some foreign language ha.

EDIT: I see on a later page you reply to a person saying country and carrier does not matter, use the default one.

You could try reinstalling the Android bars like someone else here did. They said it worked for them.

Same here, went really smooth on my Z10. I love it. It's a nice fresh look. I've heard it helps battery life on the Z10 so I'm hopeful. I have a Q10 coming tomorrow or Thursday and will put 10.3 on that too.

So I know I'm late to the party but.

I'm trying to load the 10.3.0.296 leak non destructively on my z10 stl100-3 (tmo lookin to keep wifi calling)

I've extracted two signed files, the os and radio, and the bars.

When going to install them sachesi does not see the signed files. Am I missing something? Do I have to simply rename them to .bar?

I've tried searching and reading hut can't seem to find the keyword combination to find results on what I am doing or is this whole process not possible with leaks still? Though I thought it was now in the newer versions of sachesi

    Thanks for the help

OS and Radio .bar files need to be signed by Blackberry to be sideloadable.
When you only have .signed files (for example, extracted from an Autoloader), you cannot sideload them. They have to be flashed (by an autoloader).
However, you can extract the apps and sideload them. Extracting the apps from 10.3.1 requires Sachesi 1.9.2.

So I'm basically trying to turn the 10.3.0.296 autoloader into a nondestructive upgrade.

    I have sachesi 1.9.1

I extracted the os.signed and radio.signed and apps all separately from the autoloader.exe

I thought I just loaded the 3 into the install list and would be good.

If I combine the os.signed and radio.signed into an autoloader and run it will I lose anything on the phone?

I have the app bars extracted (178 of them) but they won't all load due to the 10.3.0.296 os being missing.

When you say I can extract the apps with 1.9.2 will that provide me with bars for the os and radio also?

Sorry I'm a noon to non destructive upgrades and seems like I bit off a little more than I knew how to chew doing this with a leak instead of a production os.

It currently looks like my phone is still on 10.2.1.xxx with a mix of 10.3 and 10.2.1 apps

    Appreciate your help

    This isn't possible Sorry.
You can only non-destructively load the Apps (not the OS or Radio). If the apps require the new OS, then they can't be used non-destructively.
You will have to wait until a 10.3.1 OS appears on a production server in the BAR format.

Since you mentioned you are on 10.2.1, of course you can upgrade to 10.3.0 non-destructively right now.

Damn it. Sorry to waste your time then. I know I read in the past it wasn't possible but looked like that had changed with the newer versions of sachesi.

Yea it wouldn't install some of the apps because the 10.3 os wasn't present first. I figured it was because I didn't know how to load the signed os file into sachesi as a bar.

Thank you again for your help and tools!

Does it need to be that specific version?
