It just extracts it manually. For the .bar, it's technically the same as using winzip or something else -- in fact, it's likely very similar code.
    P.S.

You have been using oberhumer.com: LZO real-time data compression library, I presume.

Android and Blackberry 1.4.0 are now out..
Android now compiled to support bootloader. So technically functions the same as a desktop PC now as long as you have adequate permissions or support.

Yes! That's what Blackberry uses to compress it. So it makes sense to use it to decompress it.

Dang... Thanks for that little nugget! I had been using v3.10.0.55 to build autoloaders with cap.exe. Maybe I'll try this one out soon.

Never know who's lurking through the threads, actually doing some reading instead of asking lots of dumb questions...

Trying to do install with Sachesi, on Q10 (which had 10.2.2.1531) to 10.3.0.1052
I deleted the four "dtxg" files.

Must have done something wrong, not sure what. Was installing slow as molassas, and left it overnight. This morning bottom line said 100 %. But ran into this...the per cent would not change when I left Q10 and PC connected and on...unplugging USB and then re-connecting would show an increase in the percent installation.

But while Q10 has OS 10.3.0.1052, the radio is still 10.2.2.1532.

Hub does not work, BBM does not work, bunch of other stuff works, but slowly.

Tried to connect Q10 to Sachesi again (upgraded to Sachesi 1.40 on Windoes 7 machine)...want to try install just of the radio for the 10.3, but every time I connect Q10 to Sachesi, the files that had been used to upgrade are still there.

Is there any way of cleaning out the old files from Sachesi, so I can try to upgrade just the radio, and see if that helps?
Whenever I close Sachesi, and restart connecting the Q10, the same files show up without my loading them.

    With Sachesi 1.40 "Windows" today,
    Install shows
    Apps
    com.qnx.coreos.qc8960.desktop [pink background]
    com.qnx.qcfm.radio.qc8960.wtr [gray background]
    com.assetscience.BBVE [blue background]

Most of rest are blue background.

There is no need to do this anymore for v1.4.0. v1.4.0 correctly extracts everything, including dtxg.

Must have done something wrong, not sure what. Was installing slow as molassas, and left it overnight. This morning bottom line said 100 %. But ran into this...the per cent would not change when I left Q10 and PC connected and on...unplugging USB and then re-connecting would show an increase in the percent installation.
The install increased past 100%? Disconnecting the USB will just terminate the upgrade. Although, if the device was expecting a 'complete' message and thinks it never received it, it's possible the termination message may have incorrectly been reported as 'complete'.

But while Q10 has OS 10.3.0.1052, the radio is still 10.2.2.1532.
Radios are non-destructive, so you could simply install this via an autoloader.

Hub does not work, BBM does not work, bunch of other stuff works, but slowly.

You don't need to install the whole folder of apps. Just drag the files you want to install on to the install window.
    Install shows
    Apps
    com.qnx.coreos.qc8960.desktop [pink background]
    com.qnx.qcfm.radio.qc8960.wtr [gray background]

Most of rest are blue background.
That's normal. Different app types use different backgrounds to indicate whether they are OS/Radio/System/Normal.

You had better wait until BlackBerry Limited officially releases, for instance, Software Release 10.3.0.675 (OS 10.3.0.1052 and Radio 10.3.0.1053) in order to obtain signed.bar app files.

I have a bug on Arch Linux (64bit):

    Code:
    ./Sachesi
./Sachesi: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by ./Sachesi)
libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile
libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile
    Error: 4
    Error: 4
Any ideas? Thanks for the tools, they've been great up until I changed my OS

Nothing huge, but I lost the ability to grab links on my office workstation. It use to spawn Notepad++ when I clicked grab links. Is there a reg key that controls this? Will keep poking around. Thanks for any tips or suggestions.

If you cannot wait, please try to install the core OS signed.bar file and the Radio signed.bar file first. And then please try to install all .bar app files which are extracted from the debrick OS signed.bar file . . . although I DO NOT recommend such fragmented installation at all.
Just to be fair, I installed the OS, radio, and apps extracted from the debrick via Sachesi v1.2.1 all at once and I've not had any problems whatsoever. But I'll wish you luck anyhow. The steps are more or less towards the bottom of post #2 in the 10.3.0.1052 thread.
