OK, downgraded everything to MSVC 2010.

Same issues for me as before. Sachesi only loads when the phone isn't plugged in (STA-003). With Sachesi opened, if I plug my phone in, the program immediately closes. I'm running Windows 7 pro

Wow! Was not expecting that! I'm happy with my XP Pro but just ordered a new hard drive and was going to finally going to upgrade to Windows 7 (I really don't want 8.)

    Thanks XSacha!

Are you people by chance connecting the device to a USB 3.0 port?

BlackBerry's Link drivers (which Sachesi also relies upon) have had a lot of trouble with USB 3.0 ports in general. I always plug my devices into a USB 2.0 port.

Also, USB in Windows is infamous for conflicts because many USB drivers will monitor the USB bus and try to "take control" whenever things are connected, or try to "jump ahead" of other drivers after devices are connected.

In particular you want to disable anything in BlackBerry Link that tries to do anything like start a sync or backup as soon as a device is connected, and do the same with any other installed USB drivers that attempt to do that.

I also suggest disabling "Autorun/Autoplay", to begin with for security reasons,, but also because it's yet another thing that wants to start doing stuff (sometimes stuff you don't want) as soon as a storage device (including a Blackberry) is plugged into a USB port.

I'm running 7 Ultimate x64 on a 2008 HP Pavilion m9003z with a Phenom 9550 Quad Core. This has no USB 3.0. Sachesi 1.1.3 runs perfect every time and has been. 1.1.5.1 opens with the phone connected, but force closes when I click on anything like search. Everything else on this machine works perfectly, except Sachesi 1.1.5.1.

It was never a mystery that 1.1.15 would not work on XP, xsacha did that on purpose, then reverted to an older compiler version after he found there were a bunch of XP users, which then made it compatible with XP.

The mystery is why some people using Win7 and Win8 are having trouble with 1.1.15 as well as 1.1.15.1, but did not have trouble with 1.1.13.

Perhaps Visual C++ 2010 handles certain things like USB differently than Visual C++ 2012, which causes this problem in some environments.

Similar boat but I have an older Sony Vaio with 7 Pro and no USB 3.0 drive. I never use auto play and BlackBerry Link is always closed. I never had any issues before upgrading to the newest version. I upgraded non destructively to my current OS using it

Tried v1.1.5.1. All issues are the same as on 1.1.4-1.1.5 - closes on pressing the Search button and doesn't see the BB device.

P.S.: Just have noticed that 1.1.3 searches updates succesfully, but it doesn't detect my BB too. Interesting turn. Maybe it stopped detecting the device earlier than I thought. I haven't checked and haven't used this feature since v1.2 or 1.1 I think.

Now I've tried on version 1.0 - it works fine at all - searching the updates and doesn't close, and it detects the BB successfully.

    Can't experiment with 1.1 and 1.2 - just can't find them.

Any of you tried remove / reinstall link?

I had the search / crash issue on my win7 pro x64 laptop but no link installed. On my win8.1 x64 laptop with link already installed I only had to install the 2012 x86 C++ runtime and it worked fine (whether starting with device plugged in or not)
