What usbnet driver are you guys using? What modules do you guys have loaded under lsmod (assuming that you didn't build the driver it into the kernel)?

Try running it while your berry is plugged in, never have issues with 1.1.3.

1.1.5 works fine for most part while BB is not plugged in, can split the autoloader with the new cap file no worries and other off line stuff, try downloading something also from the production server.

That's precisely why I posted the second screenshot. It cannot read the list of installed BARs on the device if it is not communicating via USB.

Works just fine on my PC.

I am trying to upgrade to 10.2.1.2947 and keep getting error messages. First, Thurask thought it was corrupted files, so he made sure and reposted but I continue to get the following type of error from 1.1.5. No idea what the error code means.

    Attachment 259192

It's not that uncommon for Sachesi to choke on a single BAR file for some reason.

I suggest you temporarily remove that BAR file from the folder (if you are "installing folder"), load all the rest, then go back to it and see if it will load again.

You can try downloading a fresh copy, or perhaps load all the other files, reboot, and try again. Sometimes that works.

(The bluetooth file is a little "core-ish" and might cause issues because of other OS dependencies when it boots, but if I were you I would just make sure bluetooth is off and try the suggestions in the order mentioned. Sometimes some BAR files seem to want other BAR files/versions on the device before they want to load, for example.)

    Hi Xsacha,

    Windows 1.1.5
    (6600KB, 32-bit)

You may wish to amend the above in the OP as the size is 15,022KB, and it's currently only a 64-bit version.

    Thanks.

I don't think the v1.1.15 Windows version is 64-bit only, and the ZIP file is actually around 6MB, it is only the file inside the ZIP archive that is close to 15MB.

Since I presume the point of listing the size is to give people a heads-up about how much data they will transfer to retrieve it, it seems correct to list the size of the ZIP file, not the material inside of it.

    Hi, Omnitech--
I downloaded Sachesi 1.1.5 and got the same Windows error other got about the missing DLL file. I read your post and downloaded the appropriate Visual C++ files (2012 edition).

I realize this isn't a Windows Help forum, but... I'm having trouble installing Visual C++ . I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and I downloaded both the 64 and x86 versions, as you advised. Neither one will install - I agree to the EULA, and then it begins the install, but finally throws error #0x80070005 "access denied". This happened with both versions. I ran both .exe files as Administrator, and my copy of Windows is legit. When I opened the log file the last few lines show where it got bogged down (similar lines for the x86 version as well):

Error 0x80070005: Failed to secure cache path: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\
Failed to secure cache directory: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\
Error 0x80070005: Failed to create completed cache path for bundle.
Error 0x80070005: Failed to cache bundle from path: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\{ca67548a-5ebe-413a-b50c-4b9ceb6d66c6}\.be\vcredist_x64.exe
Error 0x80070005: Failed to begin registration session.
Error 0x80070005: Failed to begin registration session in per-machine process.
Error 0x80070005: Failed to register bundle.
Apply complete, result: 0x80070005, restart: None, ba requested restart: No

Any advice would be helpful, thanks in advance! Meanwhile I'll continue to use Sachesi 1.1.3 for my phone updates.

This looks like a permissions problem. Did you disable User Access Control on that machine? Are you SURE you are running as admin? Because even if you are running as admin you will get prompted for access with various system tasks like software installation.

Apparently Error 0x80070005 is a permission denied error, and it looks like it does not have permission to write to the file path that the installer needs to use.

Another thing that could be getting in the way are security/antivirus/firewall utilities.

There's no need to install the ARM runtime, that's not going to do anything unless you have a Surface tablet or something.

For that matter, the 64-bit runtime isn't necessary either.

I just installed Sachesi 1.1.15 on a 2nd Win7 Ultimate x64 PC, working fine there too.

    1. Download Sachesi 1.1.15 for Windows and extract from ZIP file
    2. Install ONLY the x86 Visual C++ 2012 runtime (vcredist_x86.exe - right-click file, "run as administrator", follow prompts)
    3. Connect device to computer, wait for Link drivers to connect, answer password prompt, wait for drive mapping to complete.
    4. Launch Sachesi 1.1.15, go to Backup tab, wait for connection, run full backup of device (2100 MB), no errors.

So for me, 1.1.15 is working fine on 2 completely different PC's running Win7 Ultimate x64: a quad-core Xeon workstation, and a Core2-Duo laptop.

I don't know what else to tell ya'll.

(Edit: Just used Sachesi 1.1.15 Windows to install Sachesi 1.1.15 native BB10 version.)

My comment was made as I could only see how to download the .exe file but not the .zip file, I now do, thanks!

When I run v1.1.15 I'm getting the below error message, I don't have this message when I run v1.1.13.

The version of Sachesi 1.1.5 that I downloaded was NOT a zip file. It was merely Sachesi.EXE. Is there a different package out there, too? (for those who can't download EXE files, perhaps?)

It's a zip file but Google shows you the contents of the zip file and lets you download the .exe separately.

Only thing I'll mention is don't enter your device password when desktop manager asks for it. If you map the drives on your device it can appear locked to sachesi and it won't let you connect. Just hit cancel at the password prompt.

Yes only one application can communicate to the Blackberry at once. If Link is idle, it shouldn't affect it. However, I suppose people may have some automatic sync or related tasks running that block Sachesi.

I did remove the bar from the list and all installed correctly. I tried to install the bar after a reboot with both 1.1.5 and 1.1.2 and get the same error. BT seems to be working fine. I will try to download a fresh copy of all the bar files and see if that works.

EDIT: Downloaded just that single file and it reloaded just fine.

Same issues here on Win 7 with both x64 and x86 files installed. I can open Sachesi no problem but the moment I plug in my phone (z30 STA-003) Sachesi crashes. It's also worth noting that Sachesi won't even open when my phone is plugged in. I've restarted my PC and phone a few times with the same outcome.

I updated because I wanted to install 2947 without the autoloader
This is exactly what I am experiencing on my Win8.1 machine. 1.1.5 will launch if the phone is not plugged in. It then crashes (without an error) as soon as the phone is plugged in. It fails to launch at all if the phone is plugged in. 1.1.3 is still working perfectly.

So, to be clear, 1.1.5 does not, and will not, work on XP 32bit? There are TONS of XP machines out there (including mine) and I'm sure they will continue to be in use long after MS drops their support.
