my sachesi just keeps searching for the USB device.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using the program 1.1.2 and have a sprint Q10 and seems nothing is working.

    Help anyone
Try restarting the computer, then restarting the phone while it's plugged into the USB port. It could be that the drivers are not properly installed. You can also check in device manager and see if it's disabled.

The error comes directly from the phone itself. It is telling you that the app you are installing requires OS 10.2. You only have OS 10.1installed.

There is no way to install that app without upgrading first.

Thank you, xsacha. So this is turning out to be a bit more complicated than it looks. I just can't go grab the latest and upgrade? This info isn't readily available for us noob's looking to jump in to the leaked OS movement. Looks like I will have to resign and wait until the 28th for the official OTA release.

If you are attempting to upgrade with upgrade bars and the OS release is a jump (eg. 10.1 to 10.2), you will need an OS bar in there too. The phone knows to ignore minimum requirements if it is an OS install.
Otherwise, try installing the OS bar first.

It's fairly easy to find upgrades for 10.2 as most carriers have released this. In fact, in Singapore today I noticed 10.2.1 released by a carrier.

Which carrier / device released 10.2.1?
I searched most of the combinations and didn't see it. Is it still there?

10.2.1 has not been officially released by a carrier yet, therefore you can't find anything.

We will see what January 28th brings

I knew you could search for a different country but was not aware that their released OS'es
    would work for Tmo USA?

There's nothing special about TMo. All the firmwares from every country will work on every phone (with the same radio) from every country because they are actually the same firmwares. Carrier customisations are loaded after installing firmware.
    These firmwares+radio combos are compatible:
Z10 STL 100-1 (only with itself)
    Z10 STL 100-2/3/4
    Q10 + Q5 (share same radio)
    Z30

As soon as the official 10.2.1 release is made available, I want to completely wipe my device so nothing old is left on it and then I want a complete fresh install like the autoloader thing I did with the leak.

How do I do this with Sachesi? Can it be done in the first place?

Can someone provide me with a quick guide? I'm on OSX by the way. Thanks.

    Hi xSacha,

I just refreshed my Windows 8.1 drive and I'm back to square one. I tried running Sachesi (the latest version 1.1.2) but it won't detect my phone (a Z30).

    1. I have Blackberry Link and therefore the Device Manager Installed
    2. I turned on development mode on and off but no avail
    3. I have verified my password is correct; I have also tried no password but it still doesn't work.
    4. I'm using Windows 8.1 64-Bit
    5. My BB Link is 1..2.1.31

I've ran out of options, any assistance would be appreciated

There is a newer version of Link out - 1.2.2.13. May want to try that and see being a Z30.

Could be a driver issue. Restart computer then plug the phone in. With the phone still plugged in restart the phone and see if it detects it and attempts to install the BlackBerry Smartphone driver during shut down or start up. If it's still not recognised after the phone restarts check in device manager to see if the driver is installed but disabled. If so, enable it.

Sure, just choose 'Debrick' as the download option. It will download two files. Create autoloader with those two files. Then simply run the .exe file on a Windows machine.
I have alternative code to run on OSX/Linux but never completed it, sorry.

Seconded. Not only developers, but lots of people who can really help the community seem to burn out and disappear, and I am glad that Sacha has stuck around for the long haul.
