i guess nobody is willing to let me know how i can get the mac .app to open.. thx for the support
If I remember correctly, it's a zip file, right? Just unzip it and you will see an app called Sachesi. Open that and plug in your device and it's ready to do.

I don't know how to help you with it.
On my Mac it appears as 'Sachesi' and you just double click it and it runs.
If I copy the file to Windows, I can see it as Sachesi.app and inside that it has a binary called 'Sachesi'. That extracts and also runs on my Mac.

If it's having issues running it may just be that you do not have Qt4.8 installed.

When installing an oficial upgrade using Sachesi does the install is destructive or it can be updated as an OTA?

Sachesi only installs non-destructively (as an OTA).

    Only autoloaders are destructive.

Will there ever be 32-bit Linux version? I am using the Windows version on an XP partition, but would prefer LInux. If it is not possible, that is fine. I can deal with it. Thank you for the versions you have.

Is it not possible for you to run 64-bit Linux?

I only have a 64-bit Linux and when i try to compile 32-bit it ends up as 64-bit homehow. If you know how to set up a 32-bit cross-compiler on Ubuntu, send the instructions this way and I'll set it up for you.

I have been running the 32 bit Ubuntu for a few years, never gave the 64 bit a shot. Maybe I will try it and see how it runs first.

Just drag the folder you downloaded on to the window (when you're on Install tab) and it'll just work.
Device has to be plugged in of course.

Just used to upgrade to the new oficial 10.2.0 worked like a charm non destructive fast and no need to restore. Can it be used to install leaks the same way between same branch (10.2.0 to 10.2.0 higher) and what about going up to Higher branch (10.2.0 to 10.2.1)?
    Thanks

I have found a 10.2 software update using the following info:

    Country Code: 525
    Carrier: 05
    Device: Q5
    Variant / Model #: SQR 100-2

What are the risks of downloading the Variant / Model #: SQR 100-2 on a SQR 100-1 device?

So what determines whether a specific MCC/MNC/device combination shows a software release version or not? For example, 302/220 (Telus) STL100-3 checking against 10.2.0.1791 shows a software release version, however changing the device to STA100-5 shows SR not in system, but there's a release version for .1767. Just curious... thanks

Ive downloaded the 10.2 OS 5 times via Sachesi and it doesnt show up anywhere on my computer so I cant install. Im also seeing a different screen to one shown in the screenshots posted. Under varient there is no mode or server option. I'm racking my brains trying to work out what I'm doing wrong. Is there any way you can help or post a how to video? Ive searched you tube and havent found anything either

It should be in \folder where Sachesi is\SW version. For example, C:\Sachesi\10.2.0.424\(bars from 10.2.0.1791).

To get mode, server and whatnot click the circle behind the Install tab.

After the first time you downloaded, it wouldn't make sense to download it a second time. It's on your system somewhere. You can do a system-wide search of your OS if you still can't see it.

Which OS are you using and I can tell you where is extracted to.

It can't extract in to the same folder if Sachesi is compressed of course. So it extracts to your documents folder.
    Easy soulution: extract Sachesi.
You have to do that with all apps that play with data normally anyway. If you aren't doing this as a habit, you should start to do this :P
