That is exactly my point. There is so much info here it is information overload and my apologies if I don't have time to babysit threads on forums. The program itself should be more verbose. Like the information from the WikiPedia Link with all the carrier and country info, that link should be in the program. Better yet hard code those values in, the program doesn't even tell you to check your phone settings for the model #.
I can't bake the wikipedia information in to the app because 1) some countries have multiple ids and some ids have multiple countries which makes any textual form of the ids impossible without also including every carrier (which is actually an unknown quantity). It is far easier for the user to type the id and for me to then show the carrier beside this.

Also, I can't tell you to look at phone settings to find your model number because this is beside the point. If you are using a Q* phone, you can use any Q* firmware and radio. Yes, any. So no need to look at model number.
The only one where it matters it Z10 STL 100-1 which uses different hardware to every other phone. Those users usually know who they are.

There is a wiki available here: http://berryleaks.wikia.com/wiki/Sachesi

I have a question. I just need to confirm is all. If an update appears when I do a search for my country and carrier and I have yet to receive it OTA, what does it mean? Does it mean it is in my carrier's servers but they haven't/don't want to push it out? Or does it mean that BlackBerry supposedly gave them the update to push out but they may have not received it? I'm asking because the update that shows is the 10.1 MR but my carrier (StarHub Singapore) has yet to push it out. Can anyone help me with this question? Thanks
If you see it in Sachesi and your SIM card uses the same carrier, then you should see it on your device when you do 'Software Update'. If you don't see it on your device, perhaps the MCC/MNC code is different on your sim.
Starhub has two MNC's: 05 and 06 but both have MR. Some carriers have new MNC's for their 4G network though. So the list may be outdated.

Some carriers have up to 80 MNC codes assigned to them which is exactly why I can't bake this in

Just wondering if my Z10 100-3 is unlocked (original y Fido running on Claro) con I take out the sim card and get a download from another carrier or I can only get it from those two. Sorry if it being asked before I had read a lot but can't get that clear. Thanks. BTW I have used T-Mobile and AT&T sim cards to get updates not pushed by my current carrier

Yes, the update on your phone is only dependent on the SIM card inserted. Sachesi works in the same way, basically allowing you to test any sim card and any device.
STL 100-2 firmware is the same as STL 100-3, so Sachesi gives more options here.

Thanks again for a great tool. Map was buggy, downloaded incorrect update from BB World. Used your tools to split autoloader and reinstall correct Map bar file. Worked like a charm

I have Version 10.1.0.2011 for Verizon and there is an update available to go to version 4189. Is there a way to save specific files such as the calendar app from my phone? Looks like backup in Sachesi doesn't give option to only copy certain system files from your phone. The reason I want to do this is see if I can keep black theme for the calendar.

You can't extract apps from your phones but you can find the old update from a carrier in Sachesi and download that.

I tried searching for the old OS, but only the new one shows up. Do I need to change the Mode from Upgrade to DeBrick or something else?

    Mode won't change the version.

Just try different carriers, like the ones in Africa or Europe.

I tried that with another app and it bricked my phone. Is there some site where I can go which has all OS versions including mine?

Probably easier to grab update files via Sachesi.
There are older OS online but you need to download the entire pack. See: OSBB - Blackberry 10 OS Downloads

I can't locate my OS 10.1.0.2011 anywhere on the internet. Do you have a link? Also, can Sachesi backup the current OS?

Sachesi can't back up the current OS, unless one downloads it from their carrier. It can back up user data, though (much like Link, except functional). 10.1.0.2038 has been superseded by 10.1.0.4699, although the debrick files still exist. I assume you're on a Q10:

Download those two links in the post above you. Rename the *.bar files to *.zip, extract them both and use Sachesi to combine the two .signed files into an autoloader.

You'll get an autoloader file for 10.1.0.2038, aka 10.1.0.2011 software version.

You can use Sachesi to extract the .bar directly too. Just split the .bar and then use Extract Apps on the resulting .signed file.

If you have the upgrade files (which Sachesi can retrieve if a carrier has released them), yes.

    10.1.0.2038 is the OS version
    10.1.0.2039 is the Radio version
10.1.0.2011 is the Software Release version which contains the above OS and Radio.

When you search for an update in Sachesi it shows all three version numbers.
