My carrier would never give me the new 10.3.1 update that I got with sachesi. I was stuck on 10.2.3062. Does it mean that I shouldn't use Link cause it will make it go back?

If you choose the "Restore to Factory Settings" option in BlackBerry Link, it will simply perform a security wipe as if you had initiated it on your device. However, if you choose "Reload Device Software" it will download the version of BlackBerry 10 OS officially available for your device, which may result in a downgrade depending on the current version that you are running.

Greetings xsacha, is there anyway to update from 10.2.x.xxxx to 10.3.x.xxxx using Sachesi without messing up the Remember App data and the ability to search for apps using assistant? Maybe there are specific 10.2.x.xxxx apps that need to be uninstalled prior to installing the 10.3.x.xxxx OS. I think if trying to restore a backup from 10.2.x.xxxx to 10.3.x.xxxx using BlackBerry Link link send a message saying that certain settings are incompatible with the OS you are restoring to.

2nd issue is this. If you have a picture password set and the phone is locked and then you plug it in to use Sachesi, then put in your correct device password, Sachesi would show incorrect password even if the device password is correct. Then when you look on the phone you would not get the prompt for picture password. If you restart the phone at this time or otherwise attempt to unlock the phone, it will tell you that you have used 5 attempts. If you then type "blackberry" then put in your correct password in your phone which is the same one that was entered correctly in Sachesi and it said incorrect, the phone will unlock. Can you check that out for me please. It seems as if when the phone is expecting a picture password and Sachesi sends a text password the phone sees it as an incorrect password and it uses up a login attempt. Try it and see.

It happened to me when I tried to update another phone so Sachesi had the password for the first phone which would have had to be changed for it to connect to the second phone. Also, make sure your device is plugged in the whole time. I will try to reproduce it again when I get a chance but I did reproduce it with two different devices.

Would you be able to quickly detail the process & steps in which you went through in order to get Sachesi compiled for Windows? I've been having a heck of a time trying to get it to compile.

What computer platform are you on? You only need to download and install the one for yours.

    Hello fellow Berry-addicts,

I have a problem restoring a backup file made with Sachesi 2.0. When I chose the
file and click restore, it says "Could not open backup file.". Does this mean that the file
is damaged and I lost all my data? Have you had this problem? Thanks.

Are you able to restore the backup that you created with Sachesi using BlackBerry Link? (You may need to move it to the BlackBerry\Backup folder under your Documents folder for BlackBerry Link to pick it up).

They are in the same folder and it does not recognize it with Link. But I'm talking about a backup made
with Sachesi that I'm trying to restore with Sachesi.

If it is unable to be restored via Sachesi and BlackBerry Link doesn't recognize it either then it sounds like the backup file may be damaged unfortunately.

Solved the problem by creating a platforms directory and moving qwindows.dll there....

I also add windowplugin.dll from the 1.9 release to make it work...

It doesn't have 10.3.1 but can download and install it. There's a step-by-step tutorial somewhere on the forum if I remember correctly

Having some issues getting sachesi to recognize my phone, since updating to Ubuntu 15.04. Seems to see the phone, but times out when trying to login. I'll try removing the password, but it seems to be detecting the phone differently than it was in 14.10. I kinda regret updating since 14.10 was getting really stable. Anyone else have any problems on latest Ubuntu?
