May I ask if a security (text) password is set to your device?

Have you tried USB connection mode other than autodetect?

    Attachment 297786
Yes, there is a password set, plus a picture password. I connected the Z10 to my PC after unlocking the phone, and entered the password in Sachesi. The USB connection has been set to "Windows".
New info: My second Z10 (10.2.2.1531, company phone with BES, policies etc...) does connect to Sachesi.

Edit: Switching off picture password did not help either...

If I were you. I would reload OS, radio, and apps freshly (destructively) onto your first Z10.

    I have upgraded my Z10 (STL 100-2) from 10.2.2 to 10.3.0 non-destructively with Sachesi . . . I have no USB connection issue.

No idea why it wouldn't connect for you. As far as I can see, I'm doing nothing different to Link if you have selected 'Windows' Connection Mode.
I can't even see anywhere I could debug this where there would be something that could differ on your machine/device. I have gone over this connection code several times, very recently.
Hopefully I find the reason later.

Hmm, verification is almost there. 1.8.3/Windows crashes when I try to download unavailable files (404/001/anything other than Passport, or 310/120/STL100-1), although I do see a blank Error box behind the Windows crash notice.

Argh, I see what's happening there
That was a particularly nasty release because it would actually download the entire file after it checked if it existed.
Thanks for report. Quick fix and reupload

Many thanks as ever for continuous improvements . . . would it be possible to add a counter (? of 201 for instance displayed in the download progress window) to the installation progress window so that we can tell how many files have already been installed?

I have downloaded and am trying to use 1.8.3 Windows on an X64 computer.
The download box states that it is on 3 of 201 files, but has been stuck there for half an hour. I presume that each file should be indicated as it is downloaded, so is there a problem with the File Server?

Sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but earlier versions worked well!!

I have just downloaded all 201 files for Z30 with Sachesi.exe 1.8.3 on Winodws 8.1 (64 bit) . . . would you please find what is presently stored in the sub-folder named 10.3.0.738 (which is automatically created in the folder where Sachesi.exe is located)?

If download has stopped for whatever reason, just cancel download and start again. It'll delete only the current file it is downloading and then should continue from where it left off. If not, you might need to click Search again to update the 'Needed' (didn't check this).

I still cannot use sachesi, where can I find the required dll files?
I don't understand why sachesi got so complicated all if the sudden when earlier versions worked just fine.

The image shows the current state, having restarted several times, and done a Search too. Just stops at file 3 whatever happens. I can download other files in other programmes with no problem whatsoever.

    Don't understand this at all!

It's downloading the first file, which in fact is an overwrite of the qc... file. Trying again! And now it's at file 8, and, as I have noticed, the size falls with increasing number, so perhaps it's working.

The Z10 is rebooting after dragging the folder over. Took some time, but I'm pleased it has worked, at last.

No idea why the files started to download, but glad that it has happened.

There is no required DLL files. Everything comes with it unless you're on Linux.

You're right. That's very strange. If I knew what was going on, I would fix that ASAP. I just tried to download those files here and they all completed.
I will try to improve the downloader in the next version by making it more like a download manager. That is, resume support and threaded downloading.
For now, if you have issues using the in-built downloader, I recommend using 'Grab Links' and a third-party download manager.

On Ubuntu 14.10 I've been using the command
    wget -P sachesiOS/ -c -i updates.txt

    Works great.
Is it possible to integrate wget?

Incidentally, BB10 includes a version of cURL.

It's actually easier for me to implement it directly than to run wget/curl/(equivalent for platforms like Windows that come with nothing) and then somehow work out the progress to report to the user.
It won't be too hard to implement the downloading function. The hardest part is actually displaying the multiple file progress to the user.

Unfortunate! Don't know why DPI is so messed up for Qt5.
By the way, I just tried compiling my own Qt5.4 and it had the same thing.

Cascades only supports Qt4.8. Standard Qt5 (supposedly) works on BB10: https://qt-project.org/wiki/Qt5-on-BlackBerry10

Is it possible my .zip file was corrupt?
I get an error saying MSVCP120.dll is missing.

Hmm. Well, Sachesi is compiled using GCC and not MSVC since v1.7 or so. So it shouldn't be linking to msvcp120 at all.
I will investigate the possibility that the ANGLE DLL's were not static compiles.
To fix that error, you would usually download this: http://forums.crackberry.com/e?link=...token=l8hqBce8
