This is my 3rd thread about sachesi but after reading comments I realize I'm not the only one with these issues. I can't choose a location to download the files, so I have no clue where they are, even after searching my computer. Where does sachesi put them?

I had the same problem and searched for a partial name of one of the files shown on the sachesi download. That's how I found it. Found mine at C:\users\localmachine\AppData\local\... then I don't remember the last folder or two.

I don't think it went to a specified folder. I'm going to reinstall sachesi and follow what you did.

Look for a folder with. 424 in the title. It's there if you have extracted it.

Sachesi always downloads to the same folder as Sachesi.exe.
If you are running it from a .zip file, your system will put this in your documents folder.
I removed the restriction of running from .zip as a convenience.

I noticed your folder says .415? Did you download 1791? The reason I ask is I downloaded 1791 for my Q10 SQN100-1 via Sachesi and used the Telus/Canada download for .424. It put it in a folder called 424 but I saw on the download that it said it was 415? I'm lost as to why the difference as I thought the .415 files were associated with .1767? Just curious and thanks!

Some countries have restrictions to certain apps. That's why the difference in software downloads.

The files get downloaded in a folder automatically created inside the Sachisi folder named for the software release...ie: 10.2.0.424...

So Gearheadaddy, my update from Sachesi was 10.2.9.424 but when downloaded it showed .415. Still now, in myver it shows 1791 and in sachesi it shows 10.2.0.424 and the folder is entitled .424, so I have .424, correct. I remember that .415 had to do with .1767 builds. My build is absolutely 1791 with 1792 radio. Thanks!

Anyone know what all is in app data and what all is in settings. Thinking about doing another wipe in an effort to track down a corrupted file that came from previous restore and will not allow my contact app to save the light theme. I'm going to figure this out if it kills me! LOL Thanks!

Reboot, change to white theme. Wait a day or so if it won't stay. Try white again...

Hey--done that so many times, my figures stiff from holding down volume keys-lol Bottom line seems to be that it has a mind of its own. It has started up as the light theme but as soon as I close it, it goes to dark. More annoying is the fact that it won't the edit on which contacts are shown--i.e. BBM and BBLink only for example. I believe another wipe and reset from scratch is the only way to save the day, and I'm not ready to do that again--twice in a week. LOL

Mysteriously the .bar files have disappeared after restarting the computer?? When I did find them before the restart they were in temp folder. The problem that time was that I could open the folder and see individual .bar files in the folder but could not find an .exe type file to begin the update. Sachesi kept selecting the folders and individual files? Do I have to select each individual file to update or is there an executable file that will update?? How does this work? What's the difference in using this tool compared to just downloading the content from MEGA and uploading the way I do it all the time?

Temporary files are deleted on reboot.

Sachesi 1.1.1 is no longer contained inside a .zip. So when you run it, it won't install to any temporary folders now.
