I haven't been making reminders, i have been making notes. say "note, pick up milk" and it works for me
I just tried the same thing and still get the issue. I brought over my Remember notes with my restore and I'm thinking that the issue as the folders seem to be a bit of a mess. Had the same issue with 10.3.0.296.

I wish there was a way to restore *just* contacts or password keeper and omit remember, for example. Or even a way of deleting, say, the Remember database like you could on BBOS. I'm fairly sure this would fix my issue.

It worked for me earlier even though I didn't use the autoloader, so I'm not entirely sold that it's the main reason.

Can I ask if you used Sachesi and didn't restore settings? Over on the 10.3 thread there's a discussion about some of us having reduced volume on notification tones, others not, and someone suggested it might have to do with the specific upgrade process used.

Anyway, I assume this is all part of the leak situation, and using an unfinished build. By the time it rolls out officially, hopefully some of the bugs get worked out. Even with the hiccups it's still freaking beautiful and fun to use.

I'm impressed. I feel like that isn't an obvious question for it to be programmed for. It found this info pretty quickly too.

It's passable, but not nearly as good as Google Now or even Siri. Doesn't understand most of my contact names or addresses, doesn't have a good search option (for restaurants and all) and is very slow. I also experienced some lacking noise cancellation in the car and the city, making it listen forever until I cancel it manually.

Any way to revert back to the previous behavior whereby launching the search icon on the bottom bar of touchscreen devices would bring up the keyboard to accept search entries? Currently, launching Assistant requires an extra click to to type in a search entry. This is a major annoyance.

No and it'll probably never be like that again

I did use sachesi but I also restored through link.
I've seen of or two of his more popular bugs here and have (e.g lagging keyboard, amazon crashing, etc) but most of those went away as the os settled.

One thing that bothers me about this is that the Assistant seems to be terrible at followups and linking responses together. For instance, if you ask it to set your brightness to 100% and then say ‘now set it to 40%’ as a follow-up, it will prompt with an Internet search instead. This is but one example, but I’ve experienced this as well when searching for directions, where it will present you with a list of possible locations if the initial request is not clear or specific enough and only expects a response that is directly connected to that one. It won’t accept a rephrasing of your initial request, for example. To me, that makes it appear more like voice control, rather than ‘assistant’.

This is only a leak so hopefully it got fixed in later versions

I'm wondering how it's compared to Cortana.

I was amazed at how Cortana works in this video

There are videos for Siri and Google Now too. If anyone has time for a comparison I think it would be fun to see.

I mentioned this elsewhere but thought I'd say it here as well - I sic wiped both my Q and Z and then ran autoloaders, and now the Assistant is able to open applications. Make of that what you will!

She needs some work (and a name) but overall this is a really excellent start! I hope she grows more and more polished (and fun) over the next few months.
