Now that BlackBerry 10.2.1 is out, why would there need to be further leaks? BlackBerry likely isn't stopping them from happening, it's possible that just there won't be more 'unstable' builds?

Leading up to the latest release of BlackBerry 10 most of the builds would have had bugs as is the case with most software, but now that the majority of the system is stable there is now a foundation for new features with out any underlying integrity issues.

With automatic updates built into the system it wouldn't be unlikely if we see regular small updates come through without any user input except to ask for a reboot maybe. It has been great thing to watch the results of your input to beta testing and responses to surveys appear as features for all BlackBerry users to use and appreciate. I have been quite chuffed at times when a new release comes out and I see that a suggestion has been used in detail to what had been described (i.e volume control change from middle of screen to top) - not saying that it hadn't be thought of by the developers already and was just implemented....

I look forward to no more leaks but regular surveys and incremental updates with improvements, and, when necessary a major release! With fresh tutorials and how-tos for new features, updates to help content and an accessible on device change log! So that new features can be discovered and utilized!

Is it right to think this? Comments?

There will always be work-in-progress builds, and there will always be people who want 'updates' before they are released.
Have you not seen the current topic about a new 10.2.1 build already? And 10.3 has been seen, I think.
Besides, 10.2.1 is not that stable, there are plenty of issues they have to work on.

The automatic update option is nice, but I think it still depends on if/when your carrier decides to push an update. BlackBerry still cannot go around them, unless maybe updating through BBLink without carrier consent. But I do not see that happening.

I do hope we see more frequent OS updates/fixes, but I would not expect them at a much faster rate than before.

    BlackBerry 10 signed.

What's your point? Stop releasing bug fixes because a mobile OS can never be bug free? Seriously?

It's a mockup that a forum member did to illustrate what he wanted. From what I understand, the option to choose the call screen type is not coming.

Call screen option will never come in any of the future builds!!!! BB10 has adapted a new call screen from 10.2.1 and higher!!! Old call screen is history now!!!!

You damage BB10 enough.. and you should stick with a real Android device.

He means. Stop fixing bugs! Please give us back the old call screen! It's more important! Or something like that.

That's the issue with complex systems. They can NEVER be bug-free. You fix one problem and it creates another. There's no real way to predict how changing one aspect of an OS will affect other parts of it. It will never be perfect.

The fact that I said that bigfixes are pointless, doesn't mean the have to stop for eliminating bugs.

Tell me what the point of bugfixes are?

Eventually new bugs will come out and it's like a random loop.

There is no any solution for this.. Honestly...

Can you imagine the amount of bugs if they ever gave the option for 2 call screens? That is why it would and should never happen.

I'm sure at some stage this has been pointed out to you, but I'll quote Michael Clewley's channel:

"As many of you already know the 10.2.1 call screen has changed.

    1. The current up/down action created a think point. People couldn't do something basic like answering the phone.
    2. Answer on left matches the BBOS physical button.
    3. Its more industry standard and adopted and easier for all.

Necessary change. No option for both as it creates too much complexity. "

Please read the last sentence twice. Old call screen, or an option, is NOT coming back.

That's old news. He stated only his opinion. But sadly I disagree about this and I'm not convinced enough.

Then tell me why BlackBerry is developing more any features, add ons and options and OS builds? They don't stop developing.

I'm certain that BlackBerry will creat options in the end as always.

Exactly.... somebody who understand what I'm telling all about.

And besides BlackBerry come always with add ons and/or options as newest updates. They wanna be the ultimate smartphone maker around the world in all big markets. They have proven in the past en present. So I give them my credits as well.
