Having issues with email syncing on this. I'm using Google Apps and have set it up as ActiveSync. Mail randomly gets delivered to the device now and not pushed. Even with a manual refresh, I don't get the latest email and then randomly, sometimes after 10-15 minutes, sometimes after an hour does it drop in which is extremely frustrating. What sometimes works is turning airplane mode on and then off which, sometimes, gets the latest mail. Anyone else with a similar issue?

    HI,

I apologize if this was answered already in this post somewhere, I'll admit I didn't read it all. But, will this OS work on the Dev Alpha C? I'm in Canada if that makes a difference with the DAC hardware / radio stuff.

    Thanks

Hey guy's I reloaded this on my Q yesterday and the only thing I did different was I did not back it up through BlackBerry link, I installed everything but my contacts manually and I have to say it is running better than my previous load and also the battery is getting way better life. Took of the charger this morning at 7:30 and it's 1:00pm right now and I'm at 90% with mild usage.

This has just been officially released in Romania and is thus an official build, not a leak anymore.

Oh man ... bricked my device with my first try *g* (I'm laughing again since I saw the great function at BB-link to restore the device)

    My steps were the following:
    - complete backup via bb-link
    - downloading rar and extracting
    - close down bb-link
    - execute .exe
    - and waiting that all processes were executed in cmd-screen
    - cmd-screen was automatically closed after flashing

    and then
    - the led of my Q10 permanentely flashes red and nothing happened

What was my mistake? Would be very nice to hear a solution for that :-(

Ok, device seems to be bricked :-(

Have already tried to follow the instructions on KB33480 (btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do) but get everytime the error "[A:0x00000049]"

    Even Blackberry-Link can't connect to the Q10.

The red led flashes constantly :-(

Does anyone have an idea? *sad*

It doesn't give any error in screen just that it blinks red? Have you tried re running the loader again?

Drag the autoloader file to a path that is short, like C:\bb. Rename it to loader.exe. Now go to Start, Run, and type in cmd. Type 'cd C:\bb' and then run loader.exe - let it get to the first step where it tries to connect.

Remove the battery and SD card from the BlackBerry, then plug it into the USB cable. Let the phone boot, and the loader should recognise it shortly. This allows the loader to hook the phone before it has a chance to boot into an error state.

Because you ran the loader through the command prompt, any error codes will remain on the screen after the program is finished. If it shows an error, try downloading the loader file again and making sure you have several GB of free disk space.

Ok guys, much thanks for your answers!!

With my last try I got it boot up again - I'm so happy! Never thought that, after searching so much hints and trying out!

I assume, the problem was a weak battery. After loading it a bit and run the loader again, it works. But this time, I first started the .exe and then connected the device.

    Thanks guys!

Has anyone had any problems with MMS?

Recently upgraded and the MMS settings don't have the MMSC field.

The APN field is set up correctly.

When sending an MMS it just comes up with General Failure and tech support at Telstra is unable to fix it.

I'm with Telstra in Australia if that helps.

Is there something I should do in future to prevent it from happening again?

It forces the phone to go through the regional updates set up screen. Let it hang out on that page for a few minutes before you swipe left. Also make sure you have a SIM installed.

Thanks everyone for your help. Much appreciated. Works again.

Bit of an issue if the average user can't get MMS to work, but then again the average user waits for carrier updates and doesn't use leaked updates either.

Ok, tried flashing again, after I had to claim my first blackberry (bad space-bar).

Now I have the same issue as before. Have tried your steps (thanks for that) and it says "security error" Q10 stucks again with a black screen and flackering red led.

Hello, I must tell you that I have advanced knowledge on BlackBerry devices, but I have a problem with a BlackBerry Z10 STL100-1 I could not solve and that's why I come to this forum ...

The device did not open any application and decided to restart by pressing the power button for 10 seconds and when it was lit only on the screen where "BlackBerry" he says.

I downloaded the following Autoloaders to reinstall the operating system:
    10.1.0.1485
    10.2.0.1157
    10.2.1
10.3.1.2582 (the same one that is installed)
    10.3.1.2744
    10.3.2.2252
    10.3.2.2339

When you unzip the files and run the automatic installer, it recognizes the device, but then the autoloader shuts down and throws the error "Segurity error".

I tried a full deletion with different versions of "Sic Multi-Wipe 1.1 - 1.2 -1.3" and then install the OS. Erasure begins, but then get the error "security error" on several occasions.

I made tests with "CFP For Blackberry Z10 By AzimBahar" and succeeded either.

I also tried loading the operating system BlackBerry Link, I get the official OS update 10.3.2.1, but when extracted files gives error "We encountered an unspecified error [A: 0x00000049]".

I tried entering from the web wwwblackberry/update from different browsers Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox recognizes the pin as "USB: UNKNOWN", gives official OS 10.3.1 update, the download but when removed files 70% fails "Detected an unspecified error [A: 0x00000049]" and then restarts running the "BlackBerry" screen.

Once on 10.3.2, you can't go back to any prior OS. They are permanently blocked.

Just run the latest 10.3.2.2639 autoloader. You will need to remember your original BBID or you will not be able to complete the on-device setup.
