I'm running the OS just wanted to know if it's a better radio or I have to stay with the 1720

    Posted from my Q10 proudly
I thought when you install the auto loader, you automatically get the new radio with it.

Yes you'll get the new radio with a autoloader unless it was built with just the OS file which this wasn't

When I first loaded this it wouldn't connect so I loaded the 1720 radio. I thought the radio in this was just for the Q3.

I think the best combination after reading all the posts, is that if you're on Z10 and installed the leaked .2342 it is best to download the .1880 radio file since it will conserve the battery longer. .2342 radio file seems to drain the battery.

This should probably be in the Z10 leak thread

Took the plunge and loaded this last night. Not sure why I was so hesitant given the hybrids I've loaded in the past on my previous 8330, 9800, and 9900. Anyhow, once I figured it out, it was pretty straightforward. Trickiest bit is that useless BlackBerry Link: took 3 tries and a computer reboot to get a completed backup. Then the restore hung and I had to do it again. And it pooched my sound profiles. And, of course, my sideloaded apps didn't get restored.
Other than that, biggest difference in WhatsApp in the Hub and probably new app versions. Battery seems to have settle quick though which is a nice change over pre-BB10 hybrids that took 2 or 3 days before the battery drain stabilized.

I'm using the Bell unlocked Q10 on AT&T and seem to have the best LTE connectivity with the 1757 radio for the last few leaked builds. Not sure why, but the some of the other radios seem to stay on 4g rather than staying on LTE (I'm fortunate to have good LTE network coverage here.)

I see from your profile that you also have Apple devices. Are you perhaps having problems with iCloud syncing and killing the battery? I don't use iCloud, but there have been some threads about it having a problem with calendar sync in OS10.1.
I don't use iCloud. I dont have anything in my calendar as well. I also dont have sideloaded apps. The following are what I have in my phone: 4 emails not using push and syncing every 4hrs, cb, battery lover, facebook and some games which I have never opened yet since installation.

When I went to bed, battery is at 65%, now it is just 20%. No messages came in overnight as notification is off.

Installed 2342 successfully! Seems to work great, no jigs at all except Whatsapp, Facebook and BBM won't "Delete Prior" in the Hub. Even when I go to each separate section it will still not allow me to do so. Although even on 238 Facebook/BBM wouldn't Delete Prior, now Whatsapp is doing it.....1 step ahead and 3 back.

Trying uninstalling the games and the battery apply unless your absolutely sure they are native Bb10 apps. BatteryGuru is a native BB10 application it is a good place to start testing.

Avoid free games and apps too until you figure out if it is an app draining your battery.

    Hi all,

After doing a backup via BlackBerry Link, installing the leak using the autoloader, and restoring - will my downloaded apps also reappear?

Is there anything that will need to be readded or re-setup after doing a restore after upgrading to a leak?

    Thanks

Because right now OTA is carrier controlled. If the carrier doesn't push the update, our devices won't see them.

Well, I'm on OS 2342 with radio 2343: never been better. I mean the phone works, Internet is there 2G, 3G, H+ (don't have LTE here on my city yet) and wifi is cool. Bluetooth is insane! Insane! I was listening to music and the range is clearly the biggest I ever saw. Music streaming is seamless and I guess Bluetooth is on that radio pack (using jabra halo with DAC)
