Last week I upgrade my wireless router to 802.1ac 5G. Unfortunately my q10 running on 10.3.2.2789 cannot find any wifi channels. I tried channel 36, 40, 44 and 48. All failed. Does anyone had succeed connection on 5G wifi?

Firstly, the Q10 only supports 802.11n so having a AC router won't make WiFi any faster on the device.

Secondly, The Q10 supported 5Ghz & 2.4ghz Wifi frequencies so there should be no issues with connection.

Best advice from my side is to restart both devices and try again?

Even if your router is new, be sure it has the latest firmware. Running this OS on my Z10 and getting 5Ghz just fine.

Ac signal in the past year has been hit and miss on my passport and other devices, so far my recommendation has been to stick with 2.4 GHz

I have found my Z30 will only detect 5GHz wifi with router set to channel 48. My Z10 on the other hand, is not that particular, and sees the 5GHz network on any channel. Curious!!

Anyhow, I reckon its no big deal. 2.4GHz performs adequately, and is also less susceptible to attenuation, so you will get better indoor range on 2.4

I did try almost all modes am not sure if there are more left to try renamed the Wifi I thought this should be easier just changing the band mode in the Wifi and Q10 would still detect because it's able to but it's really complicated
