Battery life on this build has been solid for me, although not any better than my Z10 running on the 1880 leak (averaging 17-18 hours on a full charge) which I find strange given the Q10's bigger battery and smaller screen.

Throw the 10.2.0.341 radio on this, and you'll get awesome battery life
It works on the Z10, so it should work also on the Q10

Has anyone tested this on Bell/Virgin?

Edit: I just did and so far so good. The settings application runs much smoother!

Still testing it. Whatsapp now in the hub for me. No other noticeable changes other than the speed and smoothness of this OS

Calendar is now white. I actually don't mind this.

Thanks to all for putting these together. Great work.
    I installed the version from post #538 onto an AT&T Q10 - SQN100-1
Restore worked fine (although it locked out my Exchange account) and everything seems fine except none of the sideloaded Android apps work. What did I do wrong and thanks in advance.

<EDIT> - it's not just sideloaded apps; any ported Android app (like Battery Watch or World Stock Market) downloaded from AppWorld fail with "The process system.apps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". An Android runtime error...

Hi all. I'm relatively new to this, so pls bear w me. I'm running Software Ver 10.1.0.2011, OS Ver 10.1.0.2038, and Radio Ver 10.1.0.2039. Device is SQN100-2

What I nned to know is what to be careful of, when loading a leaked OS, beyond the obvious, of course. And more importantly, what the expected gains are. Also if someone could ellucidate me on the diff versions shown on my screen, that would help.

Any advice from you guys would be gratfully rec'd.

    Thx!

I have the same problem. At first I thought it was related to BBM CHANNELS - which I d.l. from BETA ZONE. So I reloaded the .4285 software after doing a security wipe. This put the 'old' version of BBM back on the phone (without channels). The problem disappeared. For five days. Then came back. I didnt wipe the phone this time. Instead just restored a back up I had that DID NOT have those undelete-able "message sent " BBM messages when I did the back up. The problem went away again. That was a couple days ago. I did call Rogers Tech Support about this. They said they had never seen or heard about the issue before. Anyone I can talk to at BB ? No, sir. I think they charge $ 50 for an incident call anyway. Dude then told me to hang on and after a few minutes came back and said that his higher level support people think that my PIN might have been compromised and these mesages that I never sent were spam mesages sent by someone who hijacked my PIN. I asked why I wasnt able to delete the mesages - they said that it was because I never sent them so they are not on the server for me to delete (or something to that effect - I really didnt buy the answer but who knows - maybe it's precisely correct). Anyway get this - they were so confident of that reasoning that they offered to send me a new phone to replace the one I've had since they came out in May. Well past the thirty days swap rules. So maybe that's it - a hijacked PIN - and someone using it to send spam BBM messages ??? Not sure if this helps at all. perhaps a simple resote will clear the problem. I dont think it has to do with .4285 or with BBM Channels now though. Anyone else with insight would be great to hear from on this. Problem is sure to come back. Prefer not to have to do restores over and over again. of course i could just shut off BBM from displaying in the hub.....

That's weird... does rogers know you are using a leaked version? I checked with the two people that I supposedly sent the msg too and they Say they didn't receive it. Very weird.

Actually I had .273 active the last time the problem showed up. Thej twice more on .4285. I cant see this being an o/s thing any more. At first I thought so. Then I figured iot must be BBM< Channels. Now the hijack thing is the only thing I can think of.

It might be cheaper for Rogers to just put you through to BlackBerry support than to send you a new phone.

It may just be BBM related, not the PIN itself. I have noticed a couple times where BBM starts ups showing the connecting to BBM screen like you see when you first setup BBM. I haven't had any odd messages, but there could be something in the BBM system acting up and causing your problem.
