I'm having some problems with my browser after the upgrade. Pages either don't load, or I can't click any link if the page loads. Anyone else having this problem??
Same here. Maybe caused by clean cache of browser or switch input...actually the problem still exist in the Q10's OS. Hopefully the problem will be fixed in next OS update.

I have updated to this latest version but my facebook version is still 10.1.0.78 and not .88?

It appears that BlackBerry World only shows what version they have (I'm guessing that you're looking at the "My World" portion to get the app version).

Try this: under Settings go to Security & Privacy. From there look at Application Permissions. It should show the version installed (hopefully 10.1.0.88).

I also cleared my cache before it stopped working. Argh! So annoying. I had to revert back to .2342

Might also revert back to.1720. Already did a security wipe this morning and the battery is really bad. Battery goes down by 20% per hour with no use and just on standby mode with no running applications.

After. 1720, the leaks ive installed were all giving me bad battery life.

The Android app is a bit less reliable for me on this build.

Just wondering. Was sharing to BBM Channel already there in previous builds? I can't remember.

OS running very smoothly after the upgrade. Battery is much better. Couple of things I noticed though

1- everytime I restart the phone, the media card encryption is enabled even though I disable it before the restart.
2- after doing a restore of my backup, a couple of apps are missing. It's weird because they show up as installed in bb world. If I try to uninstall them or delete them, it fails. So I'm stuck with 2 apps that I'm not able to open, delete or reinstall. Anybody knows a way to manually force an app to uninstall? Thanks

Maybe try a read from the Chrome extension (with phone in Dev mode, or course)?

I just noticed that too. I am using a password on my phone and it may be related. There was a post a while back about IT admin not being able to wipe the media card when setup on an exchange server. Forcing a media card encryption when a password is used may make the ability to wipe the media card a moot point as all the data would be encrypted anyway.

Thanks for that, but the issue got solved after a restart.

I don't have a device password setup, so everytime I want to decrypt the media card I need to create a password, then later on remove it.

When I had the .1720 the battery lasts 9hrs with minimum to medium use.
This time like last night @ midnight, the battery was @60%. Did not use the phone and nothing running. At 3am I woke up with the battery red already @5%. The phone was warm even when not in use.

If I am using it, like yesterday morning, I fully charged it then went to CB for like 10 minutes then did 2 emails and sent probably 5 bbms. The battery immediately dropped to 86% in less than an hour.

Did a security wipe already. Charging it now and will observe the whole day, if not ok will have to go back to. 1720 even if this leak is way smoother and faster.

That media card encryption is happening for me too. Can this make the card unreadable if we later upgrade to a new OS and we forget to undo the encryption we didn't want on?

From my own experience, some things that killed battery which weren't OS related (though I thought it was the OS initially):

    - accidentally leaving wifi on when I left the house (killed the battery continually looking for wifi access)

    - leaving LTE on when there was no LTE coverage (killing the battery continually looking for an LTE signal)

    - eBay app

    - Poynt app

I'm sure most of the battey problems out there are leak related, but keep note of those points

I may really have to go back to. 1720. Left the phone with nothing running for an hour. When I came back, phone is extremely hot @ 113degF. Turned it off to cool down.

Turned it back on. Battery was @ 100F after just a minute it is now 104F. Need to turn off again as it is getting very hot once more. I really wonder whats wrong.

I noticed that I cannot read my microSD with, for example, OI File Manager (download from App World) but I can play music/movies stored on it using the built-in players. Is this due to the encryption?
