All right. Feels like the early 9800 days with BIS connection issues, but I like the rest of the improvements too much to go back to stock.

"Speed dial" contacts are now available at the top of the phone screen, like they are for the Z. Would like to be able to delete the Voicemail icon, though.

I got bored so decided to experiment.

    I loaded 4285 OS with 2355 radio onto Z10

then using sachup got qc8960.factory_sfi-10.1.0.2354-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar and used sachibar that to install that bringing the OS itself back down to 2354 (to be compatible with 2355 radio)

That left all the other apps at the higher versions, including the browser (10.1.1.136), facebook (10.1.0.88) and so on.

Phone works. Testing other things now. So far nothing abnormal.

What settings did you use in Sachup to get
    qc8960.factory_sfi-10.1.0.2354-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar ?

They were there since launch. My wife's Q10 with 10.1.0.238 have the speed dials on top.

Press long on the voicemail icon, then on the right "delete"....

Not for me they weren't. I had someone with a Z try to get them to show for me but they never did. Before this leak, my phone log screen went all the way to the top. Log entries are now only half the screen and less tall.

Long press on the voicemail button does not allow you to delete, the trash can is greyed out.

The engineering screen on this build seems to be a bit limited compared to the previous built. I can no longer see battery statistics

This OS build is the best yet works smooth and fast once the OS settled in and contacts emails etc have synced, most importantly what made my day was Smart Dialing! Yes!! Finally Smart Dialing works like it should with this update!! For the benefit of those that have had this small but annoying issue, I'm using my home country Nigeria as an example:

Set your country code in my case (+234) Nigeria and then National number length like this, typically our National number is 11 digits like this 0808 123 456, so you leave out the (0) and place the national number length as 10. Other countries follow suit and count the numbers after the first (0) and use that.

Many posts have come up on this with those guidelines that never works, but it works with this update! Nice!!

I wonder if this is carrier dependent. I know for sure that the dialing shortcuts were NOT there for me in 1880, because that's when I last checked for them. They may have appeared in the 2xxx builds as I tend to keep the phone on the contacts screen.

And no, I can't delete my voicemail icon. See screenshot.
