    Hi all,
I have a Z10 STL 100-1 carrier Mobinil Egypt, I am having a problem with the battery, at 34% the phone just turns off and when I try to turn it on it show empty battery icon, I am not having a problem with battery lifetime "10 hrs +"
But it is really annoying when your phone just turns off without notice.
Thanks in advance for your valuable advices and help.
    Have a wonderdul day...

This happend to me after installing a leak once... I was turning off at 40%... What i did was: when the phone turned off i take off the battery for like an hour, after that plug the charger, i use battery guru so when it was at 100% i notice the w% was still high (thats when the phone is actually charguing) so i wait for the W# to reach 0.0... After that problem solve, u can try it and see if it work for you.

You can do that, or run a Battery Calibration. You shouldn't do it unless you have a State-of-Charge mismatch (like turning off at 30% or draining to 0% very quickly but still operating at 0% for hours) and need to recalibrate your battery. It is actually good for the battery every now and then.

More info can be see here: Battery Calibration – Battery University

I had the same issue on 1521 . Waited for a few days, but finally had to order a new battery.

The day i received my new battery, i kept my old battery aside for few hours. Then tried inserting it again, and saw that battery went below 30.. then started working normally. 17€ wasted. End of story.

Sorry to hear that man...I did some extensive research on how Li-Ion batteries worked before I was going to resign it as a faulty battery. Since you have to return your phone here in South Africa for a faulty battery and they take it away for 2-3 weeks (Provided they don't "lose" it).

Fortunately I was able to sort mine out with the steps above. :-)

Had the exact same problem with a lot of other small problems as well. Got fed up and went back to 1047 build. And voila no shutdown at 30%. I think there's a bug in the os.

    Thanks all for your valuable advices;
    What worked with me was:
    Install the 10.1.0.4181 OS
Waited till the phone turned off
    Remove battery and sim card
    Waited for 1 hour
Install the battery and the sim
Plug the charger to the phone
Press power bottom for a coupe of minutes
Plug the charger to the wall
    while it is still off
    Till it is 100% charged

    It worked perfectly...
Again thanks you all for your advices
