I was thinking about loading up 10.2.0.1047

Is it fully functional after loading it up? Or does it need additional tweeks like a radio file or something? (this will be the first leaked os for my bb10 phone)

It's a full OS. No need to add anything. It's a good OS and is worth loading it. You will be pleased with the many features compared to 10.1.

I've never run into this situation before, but if someone tries to get in your phone, after 5 failed attempts, it makes you type blackberry before you can try another pass code. Makes it that much harder for a toddler(in my case, my wife trying to get in my phone) to force security wipe your phone. New to 10.2? I don't know but it saved me from restoring and starting fresh.

I messaged *DATA# to get my data usage, AT&T customer. I get a smiley face now instead of it showing Megabyte, at least I never noticed it before.
I also get the same thing, apparently like you might not never noticed prior.

Graphics are great and performance is so much better. I was cautious about the leak, so glad that I installed.

Yup it's a beautiful feature that's been there from almost the beginning of BlackBerry.

10.2 is utterly stunning. I can't begin to explain how good it is, how many new features it has, or how surprisingly stable it is as well as battery life. I've gone through just about all the 10.1 leaks and this is easily as stable if not moreso than all of them by a wide margin. I had just about given up on installing leaks but once I installed this on a spare, I couldn't imagine life without it so I put it on my primary and it's been smooth sailing - even through stress tests and extensive Android usage. Note that you'll likely be better off installing some of the latest sideloads to leverage the power of the JellyBean runtime, and you'll need to re-install Instagram using the two step method (old version first, login to failure message due to version, then install 4.0.2 on top of it.) Netflix is also best with the latest version - their UI isn't any faster, but watching videos is with no more lip synch problems.

Yes - me. Afterwards I additionally installed the .8xx Android Runtime through Chrome browser sideloading , worked flawlessly.

It's a great update, but amazing??? To be honest it brings it in line with S3 notifications and system monitoring via app manager, sooo not amazing, better for the platform? Yes...still lots of work to do as far as custom notifications etc

Love this leak! Highly recommend to all Verizon Z10 owners! Z10STL100-4/10.2.0.1047 Restore worked well! Battery life is better than was on 10.1.0.2354. Love all the new features! Still testing it out, but so far it's awesome! Installed early in the AM Saturday morning (8/3). Very happy with the progress! Keep it up BlackBerry!

Buried in the bluetooth advanced settings is "rSAP Mode". Is that new?

"The remote SIM Access Profile allows your Bluetooth enabled device to use your BlackBerry device's network credentials."
Can someone confirm it now supports rSAP? Till now only Nokia phones had this and very very few others. Would be great to use with my VW.

One thing I've noticed though is that some apps are not compatible with 10.2 yet. Like Battery Guru. It's plugged and charging now but showing otherwise

Don't listen to zTen.. he hates BatteryGuru for some reason.. and just can't help himself but to tell everyone.

It is running just fine on my 10.2 device, it simply tracks and displays what the BB10 OS is reporting to it.. no magic mojo involved.

Try a reboot and if that doesn't work, delete and reinstall BatteryGuru.
