    10.2 just made the z10 1000000% better.
This is amazing, people need to try this and they will love it. I installed the leak or leaked release whatever you want to call it, no issues at all.

    100% recommended.

Sorry all I got excited and forgot to include why it's amazing.

It is a fully functional OS, battery life is excellent so far and there is no over heating.

Notifications have improved a lot, if you are in a app and you get a message it pops up there so you don't have to go to the hub to see it.

The lock screen gives info about your notifications as well so you can quickly preview it.

There have been lots of UI improvements making it more functional.

They changed the spinning blue thing to a new one it's like a rotating hexagon.

There is a device manager in settings now you so can see what's using your resources.

There is a priority hub now in the hub that learns from your communication and makes messages prioritized based on who you talk to.

There are lots of changes all over the place, you gotta try it.

The auto load was easy to use and the back up restored from my 10.1.

I'm very tempted to install the leak but I just got near perfect battery life on mine. Too afraid to risk that, haha.

Itching to try this on my Q10 but I'm patient enough to wait for the official update. I'm more then satisfied with the device, it can only get better.

This new 10.2 leak is out of this world, it's so fast I can't even keep up with it, it's fast than Usain bolt, lol, if there is anybody that is unsure whether to download and install this leak, do it as it's the best leak that has been done so far, it's smooth, fast, if the battery dies to quick don't worry cos it takes a couple days for the new OS to settle down. Enjoy this 1000% perfect leak, and a big thanks to the OS elite team for giving not to us, I van just imagine what the official 10.2 is going to be like.

Yeah I was initially sceptical because a lot of the 10.1 leaks were awful until after an official release. I skipped 810.

But I took the plunge with this latest one and I'm glad I did. It's absolutely amazing and it feels like the OS is much more mature now and ready to go head to head with the big boys.

Haven't come across any bugs so far! Love having separate BBM group notifications!

Would be nice if OP would post why the update is "amazing" cause i'm not easily amazed. If aliens would come from space to test my Q10 then I would be amazed. Just saying it is amazing doesn't give much information.

A few minor things I've noticed

    App manager

    Interactive notifications on lock

Tmobiles wifi calling can now send pictures. Not sure on calls

Notifications show on top of phone when they come in(brief message)

    (might have been 10.1.0.4xxx)
Songs change in active screens now

Priority hub(can set up important messages)

Change in screen when sharing files
Post here if you think 10.2 is AMAZING!-img_00007995.png

That's what I've noticed so far

    New loading boxes.

    Preparing hub takes seconds

I agree with the OP. Installing a leak is really easy.

I've been doing it for a while now, probably a couple of years. Installing a leak on BB10 phones is so much easier than on OS6 and 7.

10.2 is the most substantially upgraded OS. I can't believe it's just a slight bump up from 10.1 to 10.2.

Literally everything about the Z10 gets even better in 10.1... the only thing that takes a while is the restore of your old data. But the OS itself only takes a couple minutes.

    I love 10.2.

Thanks to those sharing their experience with 10.2.

Can anyone give some information, in all honesty is it really that different from 10.1 or is the excitement that we're getting toast notifications that other platforms have had for a while clouding people's judgement? (bb 10.2 may handle it better but it's not unique)

Will I be able to do more, quickly? Also any hint on balance for us non bes customers?

    Thanks in advance.

If it isn't much to ask for, could anyone who installed 10.2 provide some screenshots of the features discussed earlier? For instance the notifications, lock screen, and the application manager?
    Thanks in advance.

Go to the CrackBerry main page and see the story about "Leaked 10.2.0.1047 for All BlackBerry 10 devices." The link is at the end of that story, and when you open the link, you just select which Autoloader you need, depending on your device.

Agree with the OP...10.2 is a huge leap forward. Only minor thing i noticed is that when you reboot your phone, wifi gets shut off. That is the only very minor thing. Other than that it is amazing.

It's very much improved over 10.1.

The pop up notifications are very nice to have, and you can reply or just X it out and keep doing whatever you're doing.

The notifications on the lock screen are also really good. They work flawlessly. If you get a BBM, for example, you can touch the icon and a preview of the message appears. Tap it again and it is hidden. It's nice.

The browser is even better. The Copy-paste options appear in a pop up box ON the text you've highlighted. No more pressing and holding and waiting for the options to appear on the right side of the screen.

And of course...the keyboard. It makes a different sound for when you delete or press Alt or hit the number key. You can also set your phone to vibrate when the keyboard corrects you, so you know when a word has been changed.

BlackBerry keeps thinking of ways to make BB10 better. I can't recommend 10.2 enough.
