If this is in the wrong forum, please move it. I am on the 1529 leak, never had problems with pim services eating up battery before, but the past two nights at work my phone went dead in my locker. I went to android settings and turned off wifi, deleted some stuff from my memory card, and removed my Google account from android settings. Now I'm pretty sure that wifi being on in android or my Google account was to blame, but not sure which. Either way, pim is back to normal now and battery is fine so far.

I had the same issue but it comes and goes. Pretty sure its related to sync with email, dropbox, etc. Just don't add so many synchronization accounts and you should be fine same as me

I've had this issue, every time I've had it it's been email thinking that it didn't send successfully even though it did. Happens most with picture attachments. I watched the traffic over the router when this was happening, it kept trying to shake hands with Google imap server but failed. This caused PIM to eat 15%/hr. It's solved if I delete the email on handheld.
