I am not against leaks or nothing wrong installing them. I prefer not to install it. I bought a BBRY phone to run BBRY authorized software.

Trust me, the leaks are from BlackBerry and just because there not officially authorized by the carriers hmmmmm.
These leaks are not like roms you download in android.
    They get leaked from BlackBerry.

Right now I'm running 1925 with the 1056 radio. Everything is working perfectly. Not sure if the 1056 radio makes a huge difference, but I wanted a STL100-4 specific radio.

I am partial to carrier OS releases since Link can't restore backups if you roll back for some reason or another. My opinion also would change if I was using a Z10 instead of the Q10.

    I'd say 10.2.1.1925.

Even with a few quirks here and there (my main pet peeve being that the Android Run time can't really deal with SD cards), it's been rather solid.

There he goes with the "trust me" again!
How about trust me then? Leaks have always been unofficial OS releases. OS releases made by BlacBerry.

Because seriously. Nobody elase is able to access the bits of the phone that allow you to install stuff (as in the OS stuff). Nobody has access to the OS' source code out of BlackBerry, so nobody can add new features. Only one thing is a con when it comes to leaks: You never know how "baked" that release is untill you take it for a spin. Some leaks could be very very raw material while other (like 10.2.1.1925) feel like a finished product.

Where else would the leaks come from, if not BlackBerry?

I'm running all official at the moment - .429
Not against leaks - but had an issue with texts on one so I've been a bit leary to try another. Have to admit though - the .1925 sounds good. If there's no word about it becoming official in the next few weeks I'll probably go for it.

Today, my Q10 and I were up to no good :-). Installed Windows 7 via Bootcamp and then upgraded from 1055 to 1925. Woohooo!

So far, no issues. Will report back on battery life later, but so far, the advantages I find over 1055 are:
    1. Slightly smoother Android runtime.
    2. Apps start up faster.

Take a look at the findings thread for 1925. It's not stable enough to be better than 1791 yet unless you absolutely must have some android apps.

I would normally agree with you. I have friends who are iphone fan boys for years, but not fans of the stock OS. They were fans of the jailbroken OS. In my opinion, the best part of owning a blackberry is this community who shares info and updates so we can get the newest software without waiting for the ridiculous testing processes of the big carriers. BlackBerry programmers work hard to fix bugs and add features as fast as they can, but that takes too much time to hit the users. It makes little sense to stick with outdated software.
