    Never saw this before.
Whenever I add a contact, and select only Outlook account to put it in (UN-check Local and SIM), it creates it with a Linked profile called "Additional Contact Info".
I have no idea why, and can NOT un-link it. lastly, this causes the created contact to show as a local contact. If I go to the contact app settings, and turn off ALL accounts so that only local shows, this new contact is there even though I selected to create it ONLY in the Outlook account.
    Is it just me?
    I am on 10.3.0.1052, with 1130 Core, 1131 Radio, and 1154 BAR's...lol

Funny, I did notice but went right by it. My weirdness was trying to sync Outlook 2007, I ran into an issue.
Then the Verizon update came out and I ran along back to 10.2, so I'll watch and see if there's any more discussion on this?

I hadn't noticed it either until just now. It looks line on mine the only ones that are linked to outlook and sim are the ones i've recently added after the fact. Every other that was pulled from outlook is just linked to outlook.

I just loaded up just sim contacts and deleted them all so i didn't have to go through each one. Only had 4 in there for whatever reason.

Yes, not every contact has it. It happens on any new one I add, but some of the ones with that link I don't believe I have touched or modified recently, so I couldn't find a pattern. I experimented a little. If I create a new contact through Outlook on my PC, it still gets that link once it syncs onto my Z30. Also, I can create a new contact with name and email and it is okay, but the link forms after adding a phone # to the contact.

I keep wondering what the issue is between BBRY and Outlook. From the beginning, OS 10 has offered limited compatibility with Outlook. BBRY seems to be trying to force all their users to move their information to the cloud, regardless of what we want to do and (as far as I know) tasks and memos in Outlook still will not sync with my Q10.

This just doesn't fit with the idea that BBRY is producing a tool for businesspeople. My Torch would just sync everything through a USB cable. With my Q10, I'm tempted to buy some third-party software to sync Outlook with Google and then get all my Outlook data through Google, but this process seems ridiculous.

Is BBRY trying to get us to stop using Outlook for some reason? This is just such a strange decision for a company to make

The funny thing is, I had stopped using Outlook for Calendar sync'ing because of a bug that caused some time zone confusion. So I was using Outlook for Contacts (worked great), and was stuck using Google to sync Calendar. Now on 10.3, Outlook Calendar sync seems to FINALLY be working again, but Contacts has an issue...lol. Hoping it is a leak issue and will be fixed for release.

I generally don't have this problem. For me it happens when I add/ remove data to and already saved local contact then it adds the "additional information " link. I think the issue is because the OS tries to link to Outlook by default. When creating a new contact u have the choice to choose outlook, sim, or local. But when modifying we don't and then the conflict presents

I couldn't have said it better myself... I've been using a Z10 since March 2013 (when it came out in the US) and been struggling with some ongoing Contact sync issues (Categories mainly) with my Outlook (EAS), which I basically have to keep using since all my 1200+ key customer contact cards have been on there for years, and I'm certainly not about to stop using Outlook !! Can't figure out why BlackBerry has yet to respond to this ?? Or at least offer some sort of workaround or patch or something!!! Frustrating to say the least !!!

Update: So I've returned to 10.2, since I can't seem to resolve the duplication of contacts on my Z30. Odd thing is that I'm not having the problem on my Z10...
The Z10 is my testing device and 10.3.0.1154 is AWESOME on it! We'll see what sort of updates come?

Well, since (as I mentioned) I am on 1130 Core, 1131 Radio, and 1154 BAR's, I was wondering if loading 1154 Core + Radio might resolve the issue. Was going to load those this evening. That would put me fully on 1154. Was your Z30 fully on 1154 and still having that issue?

1154 still gives me the problems, but as I said, only on the Z30. Not the Z10.

Running another test here and will update, but the non Verizon autoloader seems to be working better. We'll see?
