    Harry,

Which one are you referring to? BW has 3:

    "Contacts Manager" by Raktheme,
"Max Contact Manager" by Max Secure Software, and
"Contact Manager Backup and Restore" by X-Reve.

The first 2 listed are $2, the 3rd one is $3.

Only the 3rd one has a 5 star rating.

You can also use Outlook.com for contacts. That's what I do.

For those using this leak on the Q5/Q10. On apps, does the action bar at the bottom of the screen hide when scrolling? (like in 10.2)

Hello. I havent done much updating with my z10. Last time i ever did some serious upgrading was back in the blackberry pearl days. Which is quite a while ago. I know upgrading methods have changed. obviously :P. The problem i have is I have clash of clans installed on it. Since the BB doesnt have Google+ to save my progress, i risk loosing my account when i upgrade OS. What upgrade method do i use? I hear alot of people suggesting sachesi. Will that method keep my progress? I backuped my device already on Link. Sorry for sounding so noobish. But thanks for the help.

if I install this leak, and the carrier rolls out an official 10.3.1 update, car I update OTA ?
In other words, how will this leak be regarded as by the official carriers or BB servers?

If the OTA update is newer than whatever is on your device (which it will be) , then you'll get an update notification.

Those of you who have been successful in upgrading to the new version please share any advice info you might have. I have downloaded the proper CORE OS (Verizon Version), the Verizon Z10 RADIO as well as the VERIZON Debrick OS. I then split the debrick using Sachesi 1.9.4, then extracted the APPS from the Split File. I dumped the Radio (qc8960.omadm-10.3.0.1419-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar), the core OS (qc8960.verizon_sfi-10.3.0.1418-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar) and all the APP bar files (from the extract) into a folder. Then ran Sachesi 1.9.4 and clicked Install Folder and selected the above named folder. The process started to install, said it had 201 bar files to install, it got to 85 and stopped. My Z10 device stopped showing the software update screen. I tried to install twice and it stopped in the same place the second time. Anybody have an idea what I have done wrong???? Also FYI: Coming from V10.3.1.1154

    Thanks a bunch!

As explained before, you "search" for passport 302/720 because it's intended to.
Then Sachesi will offer to "download" for another device and make the cooking for you.
YET, this OS is officially meant to be used on passport and must be considered as a "tweak" for any other device.
I have upgraded hundreds of BlackBerry phones since joining CrackBerry, but the most recent "Debrick" and "Radio" discussions have got me very confused because most of the forum members throwing these terms around assume everyone knows what they are talking about. I'm guessing most people don't because I'm confused.

As you noted above Superfly, it appears that when I'm using Sachesi, I don't have to worry about the "Debricking" files or finding my specific model's Radio - or do I? I've got a Verizon Z30 and when I open Sachesi the default is this newest OS version for the Passport. As hoped for, Sachesi recognizes that my Verzion Z30 is connected. Do I just need to Click the "Download All" button (there is 203 files) and install them and Sachesi will install the proper Radio, etc.?

There are warnings all over this and other threads that if I don't have the "Debrick" and Radio files in the installation folder I can screw up the installation. Most of the messages don't make sense to me. I'd rather not have that problem happen to me. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a perfect example of something that doesn't make any sense to me. I feel like an *****. Is there a thread or sticky that spells this out for dumb people like me?

I use the non-destructive method,i.e, without wiping the phone, through Sachesi.

    1. back up your phone through BB Link just in case.
    2. download Sachesi 1.9.4
    3. run Sachesi
    4. Go to Search tab.
    5. Enter these parameters: Country - 302; Carrier - 720; Phone: Passport;
Download for Device - Choose the phone you want to load this OS to
    6. Press Install (Make sure that your phone is connected to the computer via USB.)
    7. This will take some time.
    8. Restart your phone when the process is completed.

The Sachesi interface should look like this.

Step 1 should be backup phone through BlackBerry Link * make sure to choose "custom backup" and not "full backup" otherwise you won't be able to do a selective restore

Not sure if this is still the case but when upgrading non destructively from 10.2 > 10.3.1052 I had issues - my BlackBerry assistant wouldn't work to open apps, I assume because the 10.2 voice control app and a bunch of other 10.2 apps were still installed.

If you did the nondestructive update from 10.2 > 10.3, check sachesi installed apps, do you still have 10.2 apps?

    It's still a problem?

I took the plunge today- I did a NON-destructive Load using Sachesi 1.9.4- very easy although he loading of the core took about 45 min. Not too bad- I also backup first !! A must ! Its only been 4 hours now- but everything seems fine , smooth and fast- The temp was over 100 at first- now is down to 86- expected. The Battery drain is what I would expect after a new "load"- but overall, its a keeper for sure- very fast and very smooth. No WiFi or Bluetooth issues either-

I look forward to installing a stable 10.3.1.xxxx when the build number is over 1000-
