2243 is by far the best leak after ever for the Z3., go for it, you won't regret it. I tried 2276 and my phone started freezing and lags like it ain't got any ram

Wasn't a very smart move cuz the official version is just a few days away. Feb 19th seems to be an expected date.

You don't seem to understand. These latest leaks WILL most likely be the official releases.

I also request people to invest some time in 'reading' old threads. It makes much sense to invest time before jumping on Enter key.

    They just don't get it.
    Let me try and help.

If BlackBerry releases 2267 it's going to be the same exact 2267 that users are installing the leak of.

    There's no difference whatsoever.

The OS isn't more "Clean" it's the same exact OS with the same exact Radio and the same exact apps.

Try opening clash of clans in the hub when you get a notification. There is a difference between a leak and an official version. If it is exactly the same then why don't all people install leaks rather than waiting for the official? For eg there are 1000 members on CB why don't all of them install leaks? I know many ppl who don't prefer leaks. Okay you know one of them, everyone here on CB does. Bla1ze ask him why he hates leaks
We both have almost the same reason.

HUB integration is pathetic. The last leak I installed was. 1949 it su*ked to the core! Battery life could barely complete 8 hours, used to lag and all. Everyone was like install it and all... you have a different opinion about leaks, I have a different one. I actually warned more than 15,000 people in my thread "No point installing leaks" now I don't know how many of them care. Well, I know many who did. You like running, buggy, non optimized, unsupported and unreleased OSs then go for it. I DONT!

The don't, that's your choice. But the OS in the leak and the carrier release are identical.

Yes they are EXACTLY the same. Your notifications did not work because your backup was corrupt. They worked perfectly on every 10.3.X leak going all the way back to last April.

Currently on OS 10.3.1.2072 (with radio 10.3.1.1956). This combination gives the best coverage and battery life on my Z3. Tested on Vodafone India.

I have been running 1949 for several weeks - wipe, followed by autoloader, and no restore. It runs PERFECTLY in every aspect - so perfectly that so far I have not had any real reason to upgrade to anything newer.

Your situation was obviously different - maybe certain apps you use, maybe corruption in backup /restore (if you did so), maybe something went awry in your installation process.

Whatever you experienced - I am sorry, but to tell people that leaks are generically bad, or that leaks are somehow less quality than officials, is not true and confuses people who are trying to learn, is not the right thing to do.

Many, many people successfully install leak after leak after leak with no problems.

Lastly, may I point out that even official releases can have problems (and not just BlackBerry - remember Apple's initial release of iOS8).

Your insulting someone over installing a leak?
If you think this then why are you in this forum area?
That doesn't seem smart, as you say, either.

IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!
I'm just playing around. It's just a corrupt backup don't worry about it. All I am worried about is what am I gonna do with Clash of Clans when I update to 10.3.1

When you update to 10.3.1 your going to upgrade OTA?
    You won't lose any data...

I don't understand what your afraid of?

    You seriously just aren't listening.
If you upgrade OTA or using Sachesi you won't lose your Clash of Clans stuff.

Actually he may lose his data. The "BlackBerry Runtime" settings component is so picky and prone to corruption that the Android Runtime environment may not initialize properly after a big non-destructive upgrade. It depends on a number of factors including what apps you may have been running, and whether or not you've previously upgraded and downgraded, which he has done. Sometimes a security wipe is the only thing that will kick it back into gear.

Seems odd, but I've experienced it. It did not make me happy.
