Sorry if it's been posted, but I've noticed the auto rotation can be a bit buggy. I've noticed it mostly in the browser so far. Also, when browsing camera albums, I've had it freeze up after deleting an image.

You are only the third person reporting any problems with radio, what model is your z10 and which carrier are you with ? Unfortunately there is no other radio for this OS.

BTW I have the same problem, can not use this OS because of it.
    STL100-3
    Carrier: Movistar

Poor signal at home which used to have a good one with previous radios... not a big problem but noticed as well.

    Radio Stinks, BBLink Hugely Stinks.
No problem with the OS, it is a leak version, we all have to know that.
    BUT BB LINK SUCKS!!!!!!!
Can't people at BB find what's causing restoration failures and inconsistent behaviour??

    Still not quitting.
Now I installed .4687 and immediately I am installing 10.2 to test the behaviour.
NOTE: I never went through the installation process of 10.1.0.4687.

Let's see what we'll have now...

This might have already been asked (I tried looking through and didn't see it), but has anyone with Verizon STL100-4 had incoming calls go straight to voicemail when wifi is turned on? I know T-Mobile (and AT&T I think I saw) people are having this issue, and the only fix at the moment is to toggle wifi. I don't even have the wifi calling symbol in the info bar.

Everything else is running super smooth, I keep discovering awesome stuff, it's like a treasure hunt that you don't even know you're on! Restored successfully with the BBID work-around.

I might try reloading the OS later, I'll update if I do.

Update: Fixed it by changing "Network Technology" from Global to LTE/CDMA, preliminary tests show it working. Woo!

    Hmm, my radio is fine.

BlackBerry Link is slow, but else actually fine. Ad what makes Link slow is the driver for BlackBerry from what I can tell.
The restore issues on 10.2 are caused by the OS.

A few questions: When you re-install Link, do you remove user settings? If so, do you copy the backup files and then replace them after reinstalling link?

When you attempt the restore, should you be logged in to Link?

User settings have nothing to do with Backups. I remove them.
Yes you should be logged in.

The. 663 runtime is broken when it comes to video and even playing audio on winamp and tunin radio for example.. so why settle for a broken android player when I don't have to...

Viewing Instagram videos on .663 runtime works fine for me. I know that's not helpful for those where it doesn't, but I'm just saying YMMV.

Move one icon from one place to another and then back to its original place and that should get rid of that

Mine was worse than poor even out side however, I'm sure we will see something newer and better soon, maybe I hope fingers crossed.

    UK, why?

The biggest issue I have with Link is it being slow - or the phone not being recognized in Link (which tracks down to the BB device manager hanging).
That is on Windows 7 64bit, oh and the BB Desktop manager is also installed.

    Again, like I've mentioned earlier
There is NO way we can extract a certain part of your backup and restore it
It's not feasible, considering the .bbb backup files are also encrypted (well, at least the .tar files inside are)
Reinstall Link and wipe the device
Then follow the instructions under my name on the OP (method 2)
Remember to skip BBID on setup, and follow every single step closely
I've done it 8 times already, so I know it's not a fluke. I also have a few friends who got it working
    Best of luck!
FYI - When my restores fail it happens after I've completed all of the following steps: log in on my device, (your step 4), try again to restore (step 5), disconnect and reconnect (steps 6&7). When I try your step 8, it does not give me the same BBID error, it attempts to restore, and i get a tiny bar of blue and then it fails and restarts my device.

This makes me wonder if it has something to do with the content it's trying to restore (encryption maybe?) , rather than the BBID.
