I'm on 2947. Came from 2234. I think the battery is just as good. I really don't see any difference there. However I do believe it is quite a bit snappier. It was also nice to have my snap apps reload after I did a full restore after running the auto loader.

For me 2947 is much more smoothly and also for much more efficient battery problem however is also dependent on the network operator. especially in Indonesia, the network operators often down here.
So, my opinion you should try 2234 or 2947

I'm on 2234 for the Z30 and really don't want to go through the hassle unless it's for something more significant. the only complaint I have on 2234 is android app compatibility. Does 2947 improve on the function and range of android apps?

It seems to me that some of the android apps work better. I really noticed it on Words with Friends. I was on 2234 before. Both are good

Z30 on 2947. This is by far the best OS yet. The transitions are much quicker (some people say "snappier"), battery last me aaaaaall day with heavy use (only OS to accomplish this so far), android apps run a lot better on this build as well. I've noticed fewer crashes and greater speed with them.

I was previously on a 10.2.1.19xx build. I tried all the other higher builds and none of them had any significant improvements compared, but they did have more bugs (bt, android apps, etc).

I say definitely go with the 2947 build, at least until there is stable 10.3 build out.

    Here's a few main features
It's much faster then 10.2 but not so smooth
It has a few glitches the worst is a camera, become not active after a while so u have to restart your bb, it helps but not for a long time.
    Battery life improved.... very improved)

I've been running .2228 on my Verizon Q10 since it was released, and it runs perfectly. I get very long battery life (2 days sometimes with light use) and everything runs really well - phone calls are clear, no dropped calls or stuttering sound. When .2234 was released, the differences from .2228 were so minor (Verizon phones can't do wifi calling anyway) that it wasn't worth another update. And when Verizon finally released its own 10.2.1 OTA update, it was slightly older than .2228. So I'll stay with .2228 until there's a real reason to update again.

I read a lot of comments by people not even installed all 3 OS's....to judge which one works better, you have to run all of them for at least a week - and even then results from user experiences may vary a lot depending on the device, the radio installed, your operator, apps installed, way you use your device, etc....anyway

So, wouldn't feedback like that make more sense:

I tested all 3 of them for at least a week
    Device: Z30 STA100-2
    OS: 2947
    Radio: 2235
    Operator: Vodafone Germany
This combination gives me the best results in smoothness, speed opening apps, Android apps running, battery life

Tried 2228, 2234, and 2947. All worked well on my Z10 STL 100-3. But, I found more battery drain on 2947 over the two lower builds so I cranked up the autoloader for 2234 and downgraded. I then reloaded all apps and data by hand so I had a clean install. I also ran a security wipe after the autoloader finished and before I installed my apps and data. I think this will improve battery life and is the best for me for now. Waiting to try a new 10.2.2.xxxx build or a 10.3.0.xxxx build that does not have "watermarks".

Im running 2947 with the 2235 radio....still not sold on that radio file. 2228 was by far the best battery life for me on the Z10 and how I use it. But 2947 seems flawless except for maybe a battery issue.....

Where to get the 10.3 browser?

Battery issues are history for me, charger bundles. Two of them full loaded and 24 hours no Problem for my z10

As a update to my previous post, I would advise that I have now been back with 10.2.1.2234, with the .2235 radio file for 24 hours. My phone is back to losing right at 1 percent per hour while it is on but idol. I found that .2947, with the same radio file, drained the battery at just about twice that rate, or 2 percent per hour while idol but on. I am not a heavy user of the phone but I hate to see a large drain while the phone is idol so I think the decision to go back to 10.2.1.2234 was the right decision for me.

I tried them all. Never a perfect apples-to-apples test, but had then all installed and running. I loved 2328, but always try what's new. 2235 seemed to be the worst for me; idle watts were high and battery drain was high. I've run 2947 with both radios (2235 and 2229). Idle performance seemed to be great, but battery drop during usage was high. I plan to go back to 228 thus weekend.

The other variable is fresh autoloader install vs non disruptive sachesi upgrade. Some are convinced a fresh install results in better battery life.
