Yes. Radios are different. Apps are the same. Core OS's are as mentioned before.

Lmfao woops, my bad! Usually I go back and look at the post after I edit it (that's the only way you can multi-quote on CB10 for BlackBerry10, is to manually do it) and I forgot this time, didn't even notice that!

Thanks, and thanks for the link as well! :P

So they re-scale everything on the file? I guess they don't use that much fixed ratio stuff, other than images.
If I load 10.3.1 for Q10 and Z30, what is the differentiating factor? Is it Radio (due to hardware difference) and apps file? It's 3 sets of files, right? Radio, Apps, OS..
I am not familiar with these that much so I may be talking nonsense here, but it's good to know. Thanks.
It may be good to know, but it's not necessary to know ahead of time. Again, with all your phones, you are the perfect candidate to use the Blitz file, which you can even unzip first and then use the directory instead--it's faster that way. Sachesi 2.0 RC does it all for you, seamlessly, and doesn't make errors. It figures out which Core OS and radio goes to which phone, and as was stated here, the apps are the same for all phones. just drag the Blitz ZIP file or the unzipped directory onto Sachesi with the phone plugged in, and go get a cup of coffee.

Does blackberry blend work with z10 and z30 after installing 2072?
Yes, it does. It has been working for several recent leaks.

It's only 32KB, probably a carrier bloatware that gets pushed.

Yo man, did it work out for you? Been dying to know. Mine is just fine since.

Fantastic. Needed this as I've still never plunged into autoloaders. Screen flicker is completely gone, phone running smoothe, android runtime stellar. Excellent update

    Many thanks!

Does it install carrier apps with the update. And another question: how long does it take normally?

This is the battery life I've been getting with moderate-heavy usage since I loaded the leak through Blitz Wednesday, though these past two days have been fairly quiet for my standards to be honest! (that's why only moderate-heavy, not my usual extremely-heavy)

    Attachment 330989

The app is called Instant, it's available in BlackBerry World. I'd get it if it were free, but sadly I won't pay money just to see my usage stats (not a knock at the dev at all, it's an amazing app! I'm just finicky in what type of apps I'll buy!) and I missed my chance at the freebie keys giveaway that CB did for it a while back!

Maybe I am old fashioned that's why I didn't really get what Blitz is for but this makes sense, although one should know what they are doing regardless and I feel like downloading a huge file with all (other unnecessary) files is riskier than just letting Sachesi get them from the source directly. Not implying that it is an unknown source but just saying that with that kind of larger file transfer anything can go wrong, certain files can get corrupted and you wouldn't do now since I don't see any MD5 or verification of loaded files.

Did you use Sachesi to update your Z30? I have been sort of waiting for a reliable update but now with latest Rogers release on Sachesi, it looks official enough.

I am a Z30 owner and have used Sachesi to update my phone twice from 10.2.1.2021 to 10.3.1.2072 and then to 10.3.1.2243. Sachesi will only use the Core OS and Radio bar files for you phone's hardware and nothing else. I have found (along with others) that the radio I'm currently using (10.3.1.2244) isn't as good as this one (10.3.1.2073).

Plus one to that with a Passport on Vodafone UK

.2073 radio was far superior IMO, much better battery life.

Anyone on Passport having Battery and or Signal issues with .2243 I can highly recommend trying the .2073 Radio.

I also added the updated apps from .1955 and this combination is the best OS I have had loaded to date.

Standby Battery improved from 0.8% per hour to 0.3% per hour after the Radio & app swap & phone is running beautifully.

I am seeing the same results after installing the 2073 radio. Signal is rock solid too.

Have you tried flashing the 1955 apps or the 2072 OS + 1955 apps blitz with the 1956 radios removed? Either one should help there.
