Not much of a rumour anymore. Chen strikes again! I don't care for that certification really, but what annoys me is Chen/BB's carelessness. At least tell us it's rescheduled. Again.

I'm sure they discussed it with their 12 customers who are requesting it. Other than that, why bother explaining anything to anyone else?

When I want drama I watch Game of Thrones or something similar. Not a Phone Manufactures update schedule which is dependent on world wide intelligence happening.....amid an actual war with radical Islam and other terrorists in the world. In a month of several mass attacks... and serious world wide issues. Just saying.

Why is everyone so bent out of shape about the arival of 10.3.3? Unless you specifically need NIAP certification, nothing has really changed. So if you enjoy your bb10 device as is (or even if you don't) nothing will really change with 10.3.3. Some people just feel the need to complain.

I think the worry is that:

    - Facebook app replaced with web link with an update. As it is right now, it's possible to not update the Facebook app to maintain the status quo.
    - Android Runtime is disabled.

Oh, isn't it "OBVIOUS" that if by today, June 30 the update has not been published, it is then "postponed" for JULY? But you don't mention which year... Are you playing with us, or do you think that we can't tell the day that we are in?

Is it really difficult for the big company like BlackBerry to tell user about the delay or the reason behind the delay?
Chen himself got a Twitter account, is it so hard to type and tweet?
What is actually the problem here? I am not a 10.3.3 hunger, but this issue shows their attitude towards their customer. Chen to tweet doesn't cost any cent. What is it so hard?? seriously i can't brain how people nowadays handle their responsibility. Announce it officially before midst of June, "OS update officially postponed for July due to NIAP incomplete certification. Any updates will be informed later, sorry for the inconvenience".....is this hard?????????

Actually incorrect. It can still be a rumour that the OS will launch in July. (since it hasn't happened yet) the rumour could be wrong and it may launch in August. Then we need to change the title.

If 10.3.3 is taking this long. Imagine the delays on 10.3.4 lol

They've publicly stated the reason for the delay both times. Most recently,

Delays on both releases are good.
It means that no security issue of significant urgency has popped up.
Especially good in the case of 10.3.4 because it will mean the product is still supported.

At this point, BlackBerry is better off not announcing a date and releasing it when it's available. Even saying "soon" will draw criticism.

It could be bad news too, as the few customers that need it don't care anymore so BlackBerry is just going through the motions since the code is done, but there's no rush to get it to customers. Resources are being put elsewhere...

Yes that is possible but BlackBerry would take a reputation hit that I doubt they could afford.

Depends on what 10.3.4 is supposed to bring us. 10.3.3 is delayed because of NIAP. Come 10.3.4, it's already NIAP-certificated so it might not be delayed unless it's gonna be a big update (i.e. new features).

The two things I think they could do to really deep six their reputation.

    1. Not make good on their commitment to BB10.

    2. Try to pivot back to BB10.
