Why? Did you sell your BB10 phone too early?

No update on Classic with Rogers.

I think that the update is only being pushed out to devices purchased directly from BlackBerry...I might be mistaken, but my Classic purchased from AT&T does not see the update.

You mean Verizon? Hmm. My sim still reads the network but isn't active. Thanks
Mine never got to the point where it showed "4GLTE" (went back/forth between 1x and 3G) but this particular test device I updated was de-activated on Verizon so that could be the explanation in my case. Works fine on WiFi. Kept my existing auth credentials etc.

Thanks. Good info. Mine is still an active device on website but no plan attached

Edit: for clarity I don't use voice or data on the Verizon network anymore. So my post just meant there is only an inactive sim from that network on my device.

My Classic showed I had the update available (I'm on Virgin Canada). I hooked up to power and wifi and it downloaded and restarted. Now it is doing the whole thing over again on its own.
5 minutes into the second update, I got a message saying I already had the update. So I am turning off my phone now as it was hot, and everything I tried was slow in starting such as camera and pictures.
seems to take more than one restart.......on my passport......it loaded, than............did something.......than updated my BBM again.........than smooth as butah.........

Dang....had my PP set to auto update....
No appreciable difference that I can see but unfortunately this update corrected a media licensing "error" and I no longer have a functional Stereotube....it was my favourite bb10 app.

anyone having issues launching the snap app?
v2 launched OK but told me each time I logged in that my PW had changed.

    v3 won't even launch. I'm going to try uninstalling/re-installing.

No such feature that I know of, unless some of the AMOLED devices had it. Certainly doesn't exist on my Z10.

Pretty sure they're only coming for factory direct devices from ShopBB. Don't expect carriers to push this out anytime soon....if ever.

    Autoload that sh*t.

It's almost 2017. If you're still not comfortable using an autoloader then you probably shouldn't use BB10.

Well well, finally my notification for Update on Bell is for 10.3.3.1359. Mine is an unlocked Z30 STA-5. I guess I'll wait and do it on my backup Z30 first and see how it goes.

access is key: as early as cheap can get... however, you woud need bring to the table what you can offer other than money: some design that can showcase their chip is superior than others (that means they would trust your design group is smart and mature... ). I know some company back few years was contacted by IBM for the IoT, no action taken... you need to get into the game prior to wall street consider is trendy or cool. money usually is not the key, but staff is (check the ITRS 2015 roadmap contributor list... not everybody got money, but I bet qualcomm will work with any of them in a heart beat). money in tech sometimes is over rated except the IC Fab... (that cost billions and skill that not easy to copy... that is why intel/ibm Japan still in the games, rather than asia). IMHO

Given that autoloaders force you to lose all your data, installed apps and settings, I'd say that's a pretty silly benchmark.

It's been a long time since I used an autoloader on a BB10 device because quite simply I don't feel like starting from scratch with a device just because I install a minor OS update. Yeah, if I have a problem with the update or it's some major thing that would really benefit from a clean install, it's an option. But I think of it as the 'scorched earth' option.

    YMMV, etc etc.
