    Hi all,

I have a problem autoloading this OS 10.3.3.2049 as when I install the autoloader and the run it it opens for a second and the black screen disappears...what could be the reason

    Pls help

Do you have BlackBerry Link installed on your pc? If not, install it before using the autoloader.

If you have that and the problem still persists, disable your anti virus, this could also cause the autoloader file to act like that.

You can also try running the autoloader as administrator.

how to upgrade os 10.3.3.746 to 10.3.3.2049 without bootrom ?
What do you mean by "without bootrom"?

That should have nothing to do with anything.

Find and download the autoloader for your device in the first post, connect your phone to your PC (assuming Link is installed, but it doesn't have to be running - in fact, it shouldn't), run the autoloader. Wait for it to complete and it will reboot.

You will have to re-setup your phone settings, apps and calendar/contacts from scratch. Unless you backed all that up first.

So, for some it works, for others it's dead.
Have you tried DBBT? I prefer that for backups/restore over the kludgy link.

I don't do backups or restore. I don't even use Link anymore. I was only testing it for those who initially said they were having problems.
    Blend works for me though.

just an update. 3 days in on new update and settling in. Passport turned on at 6am and it is now 2:30pm and phone is at 93%. Device is also 2 years old as well for info. So I would say battery life has been improved slightly for me.

Blackberry keep us waiting for a full year for this update just to offer us a crooked build. battery life sucks big time and you cant even make a backup trough Link because even you connect your device to the computer its says that your device is not connected , also if you ask for a custom backup it says that you have nothing you can backup. great time to move on.
I just responded to another member about battery life. With the new update, battery life has improved for me on all devices. My 2 year old Passport went on this morning at 6am and it is now 2:30pm and battery is at 93%.

I wouldn't say I am a heavy user at all. I have 3 email accounts that I have pushed to my device. I use Calendar, text message, bbm, camera. I do not stream music or video, I access twitter and facebook occasionally. I am now at 90% and it is 5:30pm. No, I do not live on my phone. The most usage I have ever had using browser and gps map function throughout the day in a different city than I live and by end of full day was down to 50%

    You can't modify an autoloader.

Tried the Radio bar file only. Seems that it's working fine with the old OS and I have noticed a stable 4G signal. Unlike before, when I surf the signal drops down to H+. And with this updated radio file, the stable signal helps in loading the browser and apps faster.

    One more question

After i compare apps from 10.3.2 with 10.3.3 with DBBT, the smartcard nfc driver bar version is newer in old build
It is safe if i sideload smartcard nfc driver from 10.3.2 to 10.3.3? Anyone please do this
And what is bbm meetings? It's not available in 10.3.3, but fact is i never see such app while i'm on 10.3.2

There's, like, two of them in all. The App store itself and the Underground Amazon Store app.

    Big deal.

Just don't use them, or put them in an "unused" icon folder. It's what I do with Story Maker and the BBM app, neither of which I ever use.

Yes, you can sideload the smartcard nfc driver from the old build. However, it's not really necessary. They are the same just different in version numbers.

BBM meetings came a while back but I think it has been discontinued now which is why it no longer comes preinstalled in the OS.
