Well I have factory unlocked STL100-3 and I'm not getting the update here (not showing up as being available) despite it being available for my Z30 and Passport SE, so maybe it is not ready, or never we be, for Z10?
Works fine on the other Z10s. Just not the -1.

On my Classic so far, the battery is remarkably better, and the menus all seem to be quicker, stuff like opening the Hub--messages appear a lot quicker.

Also on my SE Passport, the battery used to deplete like 15-20% when it was off. All day yesterday it was off, and it went from 100% to 98%-- major improvement.

Honestly, this is more than I could have hoped for in this OS update.

This is just "fresh install" effect. The OS itself is not changed enough to affect it.

This is certainly not the first time STL100-1 users were left in the dark, but quite possibly the last time.

If I don't pay the electricity bills, I probably move on [to iPhone].

Well I'm not disputing that it may work on other Z10 via the autoloaders, but since it doesn't seem to have been officially released for Z10 yet (at least from what I can see) , maybe there some work left to do or last minute bug discovered or whatever....
Not saying the STL100-1 owners haven't been left out either! Wouldn't be surprising given it's a bit of an oddball configuration

If blackberry is pushing it out to its BB unlocked devices, its official. Whether or not your carrier approves its release to accompany its respective bloatware/dependent apps is another story.

Anyone know? Does Facebook hub contact and notification integration work (not talking about messenger) if I upgrade to 10.3.3 using blitz from 10.3.2 with the old working facebook bar installed as long as I remove the new facebook bar from the install folder before blitzing?

I'm doing a factory reset for my PP (before using autoloader) and is taking 2hs and not finishing yet... is this normal that long?

No need to do that. Just run autoloader.

Too late, thought doing factory reset and then using autoloader would do a clean install

Downloaded the autoloader for my Classic. After entering the device password in the prompt, it uploads the RAM image, then says:

    Failed to read trailer
Failed to read main QCFM header
    Error: Failed to load images.
    Error: Out of Windows memory

I have 2GB free RAM when I run, and I've got device manager open on my PC to watch while running the autoloader, but there's no jump. I've redownloaded and checksummed and rebooted twice, to no avail. Thoughts?

Sounds like you may have a bad AutoLoader - I recommend using Thurasks. Where did you get yours?

Nope. Completely unnecessary. Autoloader wipes device.

@mainely_linux Thurask's google drive link in the OP. Maybe I'll try another site to download from, but I imagine this issue would have come up by now if the autoloader was faulty.

If the entire autoloader is loaded into RAM (stupid BlackBerry), then you'd only load about 2/3 of it, which is why it won't work.

    Try Sachesi?

Normally if it cant read breaks in the image there's something wrong with the file. Maybe the error is truly verbose. I assume you closed your browser out and all apps before running the loader?

I guess that settles that then.

    Z10 STL100 will not accept 10.3.3. EOL.

Yes, if you go over to BlackBerry site to download the official 10.3.3 beta autoloaders, you will find there is NO selection for STL100-1, so that pretty much puts the nail in that coffin. I doubt there would be official release without a beta.

I updated my Classic last night using Sachesi and noticed that Face10 and Hg10 were missing from the Hub. I had to uninstall the apps, clean out their data using Accounts Cleaner and install them again to get the Hub entries back. (Or was there an easier way?)

I couldn't find the article where I actually saw it but searching through blackberry insider blogs, I found this.
It might only relate to the Dev OS but I think it answers our questions on why STL100-1 users are having problems.
