For me all 10.3.2 builds are bad concerning battery life. System usage is high. It is okay when you do not use the phone, but when on usage the battery starts draining very fast.

With 10.3.1 I went to bed with 45%, now my battery is empty. No new apps, no android apps. Just work.

I don't know what they have done but something is screwed ;-)

Let me clear up your speculation. The Android runtime is not limited to 2 cores. That's just an error in reporting.

Android apps that want to determine the amount of cores on a stock Android device typically iterate through "/sys/devices/system/cpu/[cpu0,cpu1,etc]", and that's not a native QNX thing (it's Linux), so there's a bit of code there to replicate it, but it doesn't account for the fact that a BB10 devices can have more than 2 cores The OS is completely in charge of thread scheduling and will schedule however it sees fit.

Also, the runtime doesn't run inside a virtual box (well, it runs completely as its own set of processes, each with their own sandbox, etc, but I don't think that's what you meant). It runs just like any other BB10 application does (it's distributed as a BAR file after all), albeit with some elevated privileges.
Don't know how I missed this before, but that explains quite a lot. Thanks!

Now I just wonder where the apps that are getting the correct numbers of cores are finding their info from.

U must be lucky bro. I am having this problem since 10.3 build started. And never changed in any build
Low notification ringtone volume - any files
    Low Alarm volume
But Music player and other files played sound is same old high.

Autoloaded this build since it got out. Was on. 500 before.

    1. Overall the software seems more stable.
    2. Battery is better, maybe because I can disable traffic information, but not as good on 10.3.1.
    3. Reception and bluetooth are worse.

Used blitz package for my Passport. So far phone is snappy and everything functional. The downside is battery life has gone way down. Hopefully it's just settling (which took a few days to do for .680). I noticed the camera is a lot faster.
Major downside? Never had double typing before but since upgrading to 10.3.2 have been experiencing light double typing on right-hand keys (iop, jkl, bnm). Gets frustrating when entering passwords hopefully will go away in future updates.

Well, my z30 is having more issues with this build over. 680 (autoloader install with no restore).

    - BlackBerry assistant is slow again (was fast on. 680)
    - GPS lock is fast but not as fast as as. 680
    - Compass isn't working (but never tried it on. 680)
    - Gyroscope sensor isn't working.
    - BlackBerry network icon still takes long to show as with. 680.

    Hello,

Maybe it has nothing to do with the OS, just saying, since nobody has reported the same issue. Maybe it's one of your installed apps causing it.
Check which apps have location permission activated.

So in this case, you would need to extract the latest BBM version and then sideload the older version right? Sachesi is the preferred tool of choice?!

OK, here's the report, and not unexpected findings.

I got the replacement Passport from Amazon, which was loaded with 10.3.0.1418/1419.

Both the Plantronics headset and Pebble connected and held without any disconnections. Didn't have to use Pebble app at all. I didn't have Talk2Watch installed on the Passport.

I then upgraded to 10.3.2.680 via Link (rather than using Sachesi and a Blitz file--I don't want BlackBerry support to complain about anything if I have a problem.)

On 680, Plantronics is holding great. Pebble is holding and working with Talk2Watch and Hub2Watch. Haven't tried my car BT setup yet, but expect it will work, too.

I restored media and Apps (except for BB Runtime) to the replacement Passport, but not the Settings data from the old Passport. I didn't want to take a chance on corrupting the memory with the old BT data.

I may update to 798 now since I know I can go back to 680 if necessary. But I think the whole BT problem is dependent upon the particular Passport--not the model, like unlocked vs AT&T, but the actual device you happen to have. There must be some defective ones with bad chips or memory. The whole thing seems to be working better now for me with 680 than my old one worked on 798, and with no glitches so far.

Bottom line--I'm very happy to be back to a working BT state. I wish I hadn't spent three weeks messing around with the OS and changing BT devices, etc., on the old Passport, which now goes into the return box to Amazon. I also wish the BlackBerry support engineers had at least looked at the logs, beta OS or not, and determined, if they could, that it was the hardware and not the OS.

I give Amazon an A+ for service and BlackBerry a C- in that department.

Before you upgrade to 798 you should try restarting 680 and see if BT still functions properly after. I had an issue where it didn't. Playback became choppy. Also of note I had zero previous issues with BT on my Passport. Eventually out of dumb luck I decided to power through the choppy playback (let it play anyways). After about 30 min it started to clear up. Now it works fine, not sure what happened tbh

Yes, I ran the Passport on 680 for a day, and BT held fine, even for playing music in my car. The Kinivo BTC 450 (which I highly recommend if you need an after market BT device in your car) played music through to my car audio system via the stereo mini plug, and the BTC's buttons even skipped songs for me. Pebble is going strong.

Last night I upgraded via Blitz Sachesi to 798 (knowing that a downgrade to 680 is still possible, but not below that), and so far the BT and everything else is working well.

Reading the posts here I wondered about the battery life on 798 as opposed to 680, especially considering that 680 is official for the Passport even when 798 was already official for the Classic, so I'll watch that carefully. It might even help to load the 681 radio on to the 798 OS, since the radio seems to be a major determinant of battery life. Maybe someone here will comment on that issue.
