I tried removing SIM. Rebooted. Put SIM back in. WIFI calling enabled. Went into app. Had options. Turned on WIFI got REG-99 error. So close. I'd ask T-mobile to help but I value the last bits of my sanity.
I would try giving them a call and jsut tell them to push the package to your phone that should fix that error. as long as you get a competent cs agent the call should take 5 min. if it doesnt then let us know!

I'm sure this is a dumb question: but did you set up wifi-calling at carrier end? 911 number, all that?

I could be mistaken. It has happened before.
Yea they currently don't. I posted the screenshots of WiFi calling working on an AT&T bought passport(SQW100-3) with a Tmobile sim in it.

If you got the REG-99 error then the phone knows how to do it but T-Mobile rejected the request to enable it. The usual reason is that your home address isn't in their system (as is required for E911 under WiFi calling -- yes, I know, you might not be there but this is their requirement for it to work.)

Right. But have they even activated with T-mo?

Did non-destructive update on Z30 and no wifi calling love. T-mobile carries PP, so I imagine that's the difference. Or I need to try an autoloader. I I'm sure that Z10 and Q10 which were also carried will work.
also, to make sure i read this right....did you do this on a z30?

Problem was my work network. I forgot how locked down the router is. Certainly no IPV6. Once I connected to an open wifi netwrk - BOOM!

I did it non-destructive. But will likely do an autoloader over the weekend when I have time to clean all the trash out of the files. It is such a shame we never got an OS cleaner like we had with OS 5-7. Simple UI to remove all the languages, apps, social media and stuff we don't use. The Amazon stuff alone needs to go.

SOS! I have just installed this. When my Q10 rebooted, the text icon in the hub was gone, together with all my texts....although there is a text icon on the main screen, when I press on it, the screen goes to the hub with no texts...

I have not reset the phone yet, which I am about to do now...

Hey guys sorry I haven't done this in a while.

What's the difference between hybrid and desktop downloads?

If I just want to use Sachesi which version do I download? I have a Q10 looking to update the OS and radio file.

    Apples and oranges.

Desktop in the filename means debrick. Without it means core.

Hybrid means it's either for the Passport (8974) or the Z3 (8x30), as opposed to the regular QC8960 image (all others except STL100-1).
