So far the only reason I see to upgrade to this OS is if your provider offers wifi calling. Otherwise it isn't worth it?
I was hesitant to install this 2789 but being on 2639 for quite sometime, my passport would be hungry for battery juice, and kind of slow. After the update it's all going well for me, single charge with heavy use last me 1.5 days and everything thing is smooth, sliky smooth :P

Have to wonder if it would be the same on a vzw Z30.

Ok I spoke too soon. I just experienced the 4glte bug another poster had, this after I got home and connected to the WiFi.

I had to reboot the device. The BlackBerry symbol didn't pop up instantly. So it seems as if there might be a bug in that radio somewhere.

Actually been happy with 2639/859,no DT fast and smooth on Q10,just grateful to every one who posted feedback about battery life improvement and Radio on this version,I just installed new Radio only,Sachesy used-drag and drop method, and using one day have no problem with this combo,10.3.2.2639/2790,may be not better but for sure not worse then 859. Finally I don"t have message"Update is ready to be downloaded to your device"(Radio file). Thanks to OP as well.

Q10-5 10.3.2.2639/2790 and love it even more.

Actually Matrixval you still might want to upgrade the core. Typing is faster in the browser. Noticeable on Facebook mobile site.

The BlackBerry symbol has taken some time to show up on several versions for me. What's the LTE bug?

Minor graphical glitch that I don't think was there before. When holding down the power button for a second the cancel, lock, restart buttons change to blue squares if you tap them.

Would rather have this than the wallpaper cropping bug which is now fixed for the stock wallpapers and as always the media card but not for Dropbox. If you attempt to set-as a wallpaper in Dropbox the crop bug is still there and you still need to copy it to the media card.

I didn't see a bug thread so I'll put this here. Today I had my camera on and was taking a few pictures. Was around 50% battery life and then all of a sudden the phone shuts off. Red light comes on. Then on the screen was the battery empty symbol. So i put it on the charger waiting for the phone to boot back up and when it did, it was still around 50% battery life. It was quite strange.

Technarch-thanks for advise, but you know, have no problem with 2639 version or didn"notice any thing wrong, hope I would keep 2790 Radio bcs TMO use the same network as Wind mob.(AWS) and I don"t really need all this apps that come with 2789.(wfc and so on).

    Q10-5 2369/2790 love it...

He wasn't referring to carrier apps. He was referring to the 243 apps that make up part of the OS release (like settings, browser, phone, calendar, email, hub, music player, picture viewer, etc...). There are 65 newer apps in 2789 compared to 2639.

Check your device's OS version again. Is it really 10.3.2.2789? If so, what carrier are you?

Sorry, I misread the question. What I meant was that the update is useful for mo than just USA devices as it has made my uk version much smoother than the last official update...

Does anyone know if the T-Mobile wifi capability is tied to the OS or the radio file? In other words, would changing the radio to an older file kill my newly won T-Mobile wifi calling?

I've had a couple of reboots since moving to this release. I had some reboots with 2639 until I replaced the radio with 859.

Or it just may be the OS settling in.

    My findings:
    * Notification volume is definitely and fairly significantly lower. Lower then I would like it when my PP is in its leather case- and the PP is a loud phone. Any fix for that? Is there a file I can replace with a lower OS version?

Other then that, love Wifi calling and battery life is great on first boot.
