I have the AT&T Passport .3372. Is it safe to go to .2267 ----->.2480? Read through the thread and did not see this asked.

That's exactly what you should do. Go for it. Actually Bla1ze mentions it in the OP.

Anybody notice battery life lessened on 2480?

    My scenario:
New AT&T Passport, blitzed 2267, then loaded 2480 all via Sachesi

Just wondering. BTW everything else is awesome and contacts don't appear to duplicate as much after restoring from Ultimate Backup.

Guys, help please. I upgraded to 2480 from 1559 (the one that comes with AT&T). I didn't upgraded first to 2267. Some people here said that I'm missing some apps that come on 2267, so I restored to fabric, but after that I'm still have the OS 2480.
How can I get the missing apps that come with 2267?

You're not going to miss any apps. If your device is running well then you've successfully upgraded. Some people updated from 1955 with no issues, so don't worry

Battery on 2480 is a little exited hahaha it took about a day or 2 for my passport to settle but I'm still not getting the 2 days use on a single charge like on previous versions.

Yep. I have been on the latest leak for 4-5 days now and rebooted the phone twice. Battery life lasting <12 hrs. But browser faster, no flickering, android apps run without glitch.

As I posted around a week ago, I wasn't happy with battery life on .2481 Radio.

Swapped to my trusty .2073 and battery has been best I have ever experienced on any OS.

Don't be afraid to experiment with radios, could make a big difference.

Good radio really helps on battery life?
They said good radio depends on your location, is that right?

It's odd, but the .2073 radio just seems to consume less power than any other one I have tried.

All the 10.3.1 radios show a pretty similar signal strength in terms of same number of bars in the same location.

No doubt which carrier you are on will be a factor, but it's so easy to sideload a radio file and just experiment until you find a keeper.

For me the current radio is ok.

I got my AT&T Passport on Saturday. Had my first flicker later last night.

I wonder when they will release this.

How do you get it to work loading a different radio on top of this update? I loaded a different radio after an OTA update using the non-destructive method, but that didn't work for me as my phone can't boot up at all? Is there a work around?

Side load with Sachesi making sure to check the allow downgrade box.

There are also radio autoloaders in the OS Archive at the top of this forum.

I believe that the golden rule is to load the radio the same way you loaded the OS or you will soft brick your phone i.e. if you loaded the OS with Sachesi don't use the autoloader to swap the radio.

Sure that if I am wrong I will quickly be corrected.

Thanks for the reply! I can't find .bar files for other radios, neither Sachesi or Darcy can convert the signed radio to .bar file. Like you said, using an autoloader of a different radio will soft brick the phone. I'm stuck! Any idea?

Just scroll down this forum and look for the thread titles for live links.

You can download individual radio files from the links in there.

I'm an advice taker from way back, and I've just loaded the Radio 2073 (without problems) onto the 2480 Core OS and apps. I, too, have found battery life problems with the 2480/2481, and hope you are correct that it is the radio. We'll see.

I have a similar experience, the phone gets really hot since the update, it is not hot enough to burn my ear tho. I have had to turn off the phone so that it cools down twice in the last two days

Battery has been significantly poorer on this build. Blackberry needs to address this urgently
