I too am getting much better bars via the newest radio on AT&T.
Still not found a radio that outperforms .2073 on my Passport, but different networks etc mean that what is good for one is not so good for another.

Totally agree, I have got more or less identical signal levels with all the 10.3.1. Radio files, but .2073 has given me better battery life than any other.

Only downside to my love of this radio is that I soft bricked my Passport yesterday installing it on .2480 LOL

Enforced clean install is good for the soul and reminds me how lazy Sachesi has made me LOL

Next time just create a coreOS autoloader with the original radio and all will be back to normal. I know you know this, but just spreading the word

Sure did, but now I have a shiny new OS on the Passport.

Currently running .2480 over .2267 with .2073 Radio and I'm liking it a lot.

And I also have sitting on my Laptop a recovery autoloader just in case I manage to b*ll*cks it up again !!!

Snappy isn't it 2480, when I first loaded it...I was literally blown away by the speed. The battery does perform alright after it settles.

Contingency planning is the best :P

Depends on your network and your location. It's different for everyone. You have to try a few.

About time the Passport got some love before everyone else. Its almost been as bad as the stl100-1 waiting for leaks.
    They should fix STL100-1 too!

I installed this update over the stock OS the PP came with and now my keyboard won't work.
Is there a way for me to install 2267 over 2480 using Sachesi?

Yup. But if issue persist. Run 2267 autoloader. Then, blitz 2480.

I agree with others - this radio seems superior to previous radios.

During my days I have noticed:

    - Quick to obtain signal in areas after it has dropped (elevator or a tunnel on the train during my commute). Much better than previous!

    - Holds onto signal longer, whether it is data or analog

Makes me feel like some of the other radios were not taking advantage of Paratek features.

For me battery life is not as good as in the official release. Flickering is gone for me. During the work week I have a similar situation usage avery day and after applying the 'patch' I go to bed with 15% less battery.

So as I have not downloaded any new apps or have not changed any account, the system uses more energy than before.

I installed the 'fix' on the first day, so settlement should be gone :-)

    Anyone getting reduced BT quality/speed?

I stream music wirelessly to a helmet system and have ridden for over an hour with flawless music in the past, but since this update my music skips and pauses every few minutes when streamed over BT. A hard reset hasn't fixed it.

Hoping its just caused from system spiking resources as it settles down still - its only been a day and a half.
I too stream music to my helmet while riding. I've had minor stuttering of the music on all 10.3.1 loads I've run. Some times going to airplane mode for several minutes will cure it. Other times I've had to reboot to clear it. Usually stays gone for several weeks. This is with an Interphone F5. I haven't tried .2480 yet. (I have a Z10)

I believe the reason *not* to update directly from 1955 is because 2267 updates several files that 2480 does not. So going from 1955 directly to 2480 works, but you will not have all the latest files.
Is there any way to get those missing files after upgraded from 1955 to 2480?

I have not yet figured out if the passport uses Paratek antennas as the Z30. No official document says this. which are currently the phones that use antenna Paratek?

    I don't have that luck!

Umfortunatly my Q10 get the same signal reception. When one sucks the other sucks too, and when one get full signnal, the other too.

Really, I can't say I saw a paratek effect here sadly! (placebo?)
