Does this OS also fixes Foursquare BBM integration? It doesn't work here on 2267 I just noticed.

    About battery life:

Please don't panic and jump to conclusions. As with any leak (although this may be more of a patch) it'll take time for the phone to index a lot of stuff and some other chores I really don't know about but I have witnessed how after an OTA upgrade or autoloader the battery life will be miserable for the first few hours.

After loading 2480 it did the same thing. However, now that it's been 20 hours running, it looks like battery drain is back to 2072 rates which in my opinion were very good. I expect to charge overnight and get 48 hours to 20% once more. And I will happily report back here about it.

Have been running this for a day and have not noticed anything significantly different with battery life.

So far this is the SMOOTHEST OS I have ever had on BB10!
Animations etc are so smooth and device is just rock solid!

Perhaps the flicker was due to some battery/CPU optimization code that was just not worth it, so they removed it and decided to use all that horsepower under the hood. That could be the reason that animation is so much better and that some are seeing slightly less battery life!

Like you've mentioned, this OS is ferrari smooth. Speed and transitioning through apps is very fluid.

Battery does drain a little bit but has improved since last night, I guess it's settling in.

Android apps are very responsive too.

[QUOTE=PowderJockey;11397481]Does DDPB work on these bar files, or does one need to use Sachesi?[/QUOTE

DDPB will work but it is slower and Sachesi is soooo much better for installing. It will make sure that only newer bars are installed, plus individual apps and bars can be removed easily (make sure you know what you are doing ie remove unused language files etc!) and many other great tools unlike DDPB.

My unlocked ShopBB Passport has been off the charger for 12 hours and is at 71%. Of course part of that time I was sleeping and not using it. After this update I think the battery is slowly gaining life. When I woke up and opened it after it was idle for 7 &1/2 hrs it said 90% remaining with a forecast of 2 days 23 hours. So around 4 hours of use and more idling it used around 20 percent battery. So far this fix seems to work. I really don't turn on notifications because I get tired of listening to them. lol. I just glance at the blinking light from time to time and then open the hub to see what is there.

Just download the full package and delete the Passport Core OS and Radio file before you load on a non Passport device.
I download also the full package and update the files on my Q10 sans the OS, radio files and the bar files with ladies names on it and everything went fine.

No joy. This is the same problem I have with Sachesi. Won't log in. They know what phone it is, but just won't log in.

I'll give it a go tomorrow. Off to bed.
You might need to fire up BB link and turn off USB mass storage mode.

Has anyone who has loaded these bar files without core OS, on a device other than Passport, run into any issues. I just realized the phone app won't even open. Restarted my device. Also noticed when I long press any icon in home screen, they blink once and then stop. Same with active frames

I loaded the 68 apps on my Z10s and Z30s. I haven't run into anything yet - better or worse.

You don't want to install either the core or the radio file. Those are the two you need to delete first.

This update has so far fixed the flicker problem for me! 30 hours and counting.

I would love higher volume for phone calls through the ear piece...definitely too low and I have the volume max'd out.

I loaded the apps bars in my Z30, my impression is the screen is now brighter, even though the brightness setting is set to 0.

    Do you notice the same?

Can't say I noticed anything. Not to say you aren't right.

I would think this would be an OS function as opposed to something that could be changed by the settings bar file - which is more or less just a UI.

    Anyone getting reduced BT quality/speed?

I stream music wirelessly to a helmet system and have ridden for over an hour with flawless music in the past, but since this update my music skips and pauses every few minutes when streamed over BT. A hard reset hasn't fixed it.

Hoping its just caused from system spiking resources as it settles down still - its only been a day and a half.
