I am loading it to a spare Z10 we have just to see if there is something in it that the others don't have. I will not be doing any testing if it is nothing special.

Or the exact same as those that start "what's new in the OS?" threads.

    Short answer: nothing!

So far this latest looks as an improvement but one glaring issue remains. The GUI animation is terrible.
Choppy, amateurish at best. Not smooth at all. Has been this way for most of the 10.3.1 run.
Smoothness is gone. Runs well, just choppy and sometimes hangs.

It seems that this os is the one that the AT&T Classic will be coming out with

That would be goofy. Why would they launch with an OS from Dec3?

Yeah. Been certified for their model of the Classic. It is AT&T after all, so to be expected

Edit: but I see your point... if Rogers' Classic can run 2072, why can't theirs?

Yes, we know all that. I'm just saying it would be goofy.

AT&T got their initial certification on that OS, which is where the notion of this being their launch OS comes from.

Because Rogers honestly doesn't care that much about testing. They take BB's word for it that it's a good OS and generally just push things out. AT&T on the other hand still tests things and are PITA along with being slow as cold molasses going up a hill backwards in the middle of December.

American carriers are the only ones that take so long. Every single country in the world gets their bb10 updates before USA does.

    I wonder why?

The OS is 2072. Software release is 1450 which isn't the number anybody cares about.

I agree, at least on Z10 and Q10. The UI especially the home screen/app grid, should be ironed out by now.
