What would be the procedure to extract and install the radio?

    Posted via CB10
I pulled a radio file from a blitz package from the 938 OS then downgraded the radio file in sachesi. After a reboot, the new radio file was installed.

Horrible wifi connection everywhere, dropping out every 5 minutes. The temporary fix was to turn wifi off and then back on again but that cycle would repeat over and over again. I read that people who had that issue seemed to have the best success with the 939 radio file so I tried it and it seemed to have solved my problems. My connection is solid and fast again.

Go to this link, and download the radio you need.
Install the radio like any other autoloader and your good to go.
Maybe jou gonna have 2 red led flashes on your phone after the install. In that case you have to reinstall just the core OS of the 10.3.1 version you use.
just checking if I can drag and drop with Sachesi, maybe?

Mmm... Can you still use your mobile network?
I know for sure that we can use Sachesi to drag & drop the radio file from earlier build & same branch & still use wifi only but not the mobile network...
Care to share how you did on yours?
    Cheers...

No problems with my mobile network either using this file. Everything is working exactly as it should.

Yes you can, that's how I did it. Just remember to uncheck the box on the install tab that says to only install newer files, and don't uninstall the old one first as you run the risk of bricking the phone before you get the chance to fix it. Just drag and drop like you would any other install with the ability to downgrade a file active and you'll be just fine.

I prefer 1151. I found it more stable than this version. But, I'm not going to roll back.

Anyone have a working link to a 939 radio bar file? I asked this on another thread but no response. I'd prefer to use a bar than to risk brickwork the phone. Yes I know I can load the core OS bar to fix a soft brick. Just prefer not to take the chance. Thanks.

    jzajac should answer this...

Just use Radio autoloader, not the .bar file & enjoy your new radio...

Thanks buddy. I'll try it today. As I mentioned a few Managers with Z30s are complaining about sms messages failing. They think I'm blocking their messages on purposes to get them to use BBM exclusively!!

For me 1154 is horrible, first, i cannot access my card, battery drain is horrible and trying to charge it takes forever, sometimes i have to do a reboot with the usb cable just to get it to charge, there's no ring tone at times or it goes straight to voice-mail. i am going to try to downgrade to 1418, issues there, but way better than 1154.

    Hey Ken,

Find the 938/939 "blitz" package thread that Robbenezer posted - download the package, unzip it, and you should find all the radio bar files - just make sure you use the correct one for your device.

I also have the file saved, but it's saved at my home PC and I won't be back there for another 8 hours or so. I pulled it from Robbenezer's blitz file as suggested by Don_Henry. Then the quick side load with sachesi, and in under 15 minutes you have a new working radio.

Here is a Questionnaire form so we can tally up what kind of problems each person is having.

I also added it to the OP so if you lose track of this post you can find it there.

"one or more contacts were invalid and not attached" is a message I get when trying to attach/share a contact that was originally imported via Microsoft Outlook to any email / text, etc. - worked fine in 10.3, but none of the 10.3.1 versions work - have tried with all 10.3.1 leaks and same result - if I try to click on sharing of the contact in the contact app I get ""this contact's data cannot be shared"

Hi Chris--looks as though this isn't the right radio for a Passport--Sachesi advises against installing it.

Hi jzajac--I found the 938/939 Blitz file, DLed it, separated the radio bars out and put them into a separate folder, but Sachesi says that none of them is the right radio for the Passport, and I didn't want to take a chance.
