Someone has that "stuck in headset" mode bug? Sometime, after removing the headset, it would still be stuck in headset mode. I would try to put my headset back and pull it out a few times and the phone won't switch back to the speakers. The only way is a reboot.

I haven't been able to consistently reproduce the problem but it seems to mostly happen when I pull the headset while music is still playing

Seeing excellent battery life here. Took it off the charger by 9am yesterday, went for a 6 hour motorcycle ride, had GPS (Maps) and music playing at full volume the whole time. When I got home at 10pm, I still had over 30% charge left. Try that with an Android! To think that I was worried about driving to the coast and having no charger with me...

Some people say yes and others no. Personally I've only done it once. The leaks are usually destructive which is enough for me... my last two OS updates I did non-destructively and no SW. I haven't had any issues by not doing a SW.

    Just my personal experience...

I posted for help in the Sachesi thread last night - about this so giving only summary here. For first time tried using Sachesi for updating from 10.2.1.1925 to whatever latest it showed for AT&T in USA for STL100-3. It got downloaded as .2019 - not sure which OS this corresponds to.

Anyway, the Sachesi non-destructive update finished fine but my phone got stuck in reboot at 100%. Tried all reset methods to no avail. Proper connectivity via USB wasn't working hence could not install any other version from Sachesi. Fortunately, I had taken a full backup via Link before updating and used the Link to restore to "factory settings". I was thinking that doing so will bring it down to 10.1.x.x version but was surprised to see that the restore brought my phone back to .1925 which is what I had made the backup from. That was a nice surprise.

Since anyway my attempt at doing a "non-destructive" update had flown out of the window I decided to update to the latest OS available from T-Mobile (I am on AT&T GoPhone in US). This time chose to use auto-loader to update to 10.2.1.2228 since there was nothing to lose. After updating I decided to take a risk and did a full restore from the previous night's backup made from 10.2.1.1925. It took about 50 minutes to restore and some more time for getting the email accounts etc to work but phone seemed to be fine - the only issue I noticed that my contacts did not get synced with Gmail. Somehow the setting in the Gmail account was not set to sync contacts - and it promptly synced all contacts after fixing this. (Had 1 Contact Group - which, for some reason did not get restored). I would have thought that it should have - but it was just 1 group so setting it up was easy enough.

For some reason BBWorld showed that I need to update almost all apps I had installed. For each app it showed that my current app is older while the BBWorld is newer. I did go ahead and update all the apps - but something sure is not right here. Within the last 2 weeks I had updated my BBM which now included voice calling - and I noticed that this feature was still there on my BBM - still, BBWorld was telling me that I am on an old version. Found this a bit bothersome - but not greatly so.

Went to Snap and found and installed all my android apps. I was upset at having to reload all my books in the 2 different book reading apps I use. I was, however, pleasantly surprised to see that I did not have to do that at all. All my books are right there in my "Android" apps. Not just that, when opening a particular book - it opens at the page I last read it. Pretty cool!!! For me at least. I am a happy camper so far.

I had been on 1925 for 2.5 months now and it had run stable for the most part. I am usually on the phone anywhere between 3 - 5 hours a day in calls and had noticed that on some days using the phone (calling) drained it much faster than on other days. I was hoping that this update would fix this issue - but I don't see any improvement on this front.

Haven't noticed anything much different - both positive or negative so far. If I do, will report back here. Thanks for being such a great forum community!

I do not do security wipes anymore. Are they necessary? No. Only if you are having problems and need to delete all your data.

It'd be STL100-3 but T-Mobile has taken down the update for the Z10 recently.

Seems there is a big new feature for the android runtime. The Sonos app now works, which requires direct wifi access to the local network to detect the sonos system. Even in the 10.2.1.2102 this didnt work, and now its flawless. Not sure what other apps would benefit from this.

Subjective impression is that the battery life has improved. I am on my second full day after charge with 60% WiFi active and a few calls on 2G (2G active or WiFi). At 56% at the moment. Seems holding up a lot better.

    Maybe another leak, older.

This is the first report of this, if I see more I will add to the list.

Re: CB10 and photos - I had the same problem. Check to see if "shared files" permission is granted to the app.

BBVE has seemed to be disappeared and doesn't show up in search. I can only open it from BlackBerry World. Also there's a slacker radio app that has been added that wasn't there before...

Better Android compatibility. Another poster mentioned Sonos now working due to direct WiFi access. I have another app that now works and previously did not.

Battery still holding up extremely well.

This annoying bug has appeared in 10.2.1 and has not been fixed yet.

After a while, it's not possible to switch language any more using alt+enter, a reboot is necessary to fix the situation. Some background service is probably crashing and never restarted since the settings panel can't print the available list of languages any more.

Not sure what the issue is...once you go to BB WORLD and grab BBVE for a direct link on your device it stays there, for those that want it.

Also, thanks for all your efforts, especially the autoloaders.

Or a link from an uploader?
