    Good News..

Before doing what Mecca suggest on wiping my Z10, I try once again reboot my Z10. Probably the second or third time after sideloading the runtime.

After the reboot, i tried to install the apk right from my Z10, as usual.. it shows the installation has stalled message, this time I choose cancel and decide to wait again. Suddenly.. It work. It shows the INSTALL button. So I installed the apk and it processing and installed the apk i want

Thanks guys, Thanks Usman, Ken and Mecca

So anyone having issue on apk cant install,

    1. Try sideload the runtime from this build
    2. Reboot, maybe it will need 2 or 3 times
    3. Try install the apk
    4. When it still say Installation has stalled, Choose Cancel and try to wait patiently
    5. If it work, it will be able to Install the apk u want
    6. If it didnt work, try reboot it again and redo these step
Well.. at least it work for me

    Happy Trying

Well in that case I guess I'll have to wait until the weekend to use a relatives PC, as I have a Mac and there are no .dmg autoloaders :-/
Have you thought about setting up Boot Camp on the Mac with Win 7 or 8.1? It functions very well as a native PC, and comes in handy. Do you have any non-upgrade Windows 7 or 8 install disks or downloads?

As you probably know, you can't use a Windows Virtual Machine (Parallels or VMWare) to autoload the OS on any BB--the USB connection won't hold.

    AWWWWWWWW. Im telling hahaha

now... random, been running this since it dropped, just now, and I mean within last hour, my device started to log everything out. Even cb logged out and would not let me log back in. Runtime STALLED out, and I mean STALLED. Loading circle even froze out for a min or two.
Still having an intermittent screen shot issue also.
I havnt had an OS pull this on me yet to this extreme. Reboot didnt fix at first either, had to resort to full power down and battery out for 5 mins (or so, I walked away instead of smashing)
has this occurred to anyone else yet? If it were on windows Id swear the blue screen would have been flashing at me lol.

Also, I DO get the mms messages, but have just "phone" listed and greyed out, unable to get to apn settings. I was all freaked out that I was missing some messages and I just havnt been popular. lol.

It's what I've been using also.

I've also narrowed down which apk/android app (I've mentioned it both ways as its either apk or bar) that causes me to have that constant Loading issue with Accounts in my settings. It's the Google Play app, the second I delete that, I have no issue, when I put it on, instant issue lol

This is a followup on the MMS problem on AT&T:

After reinstalling 1055, I still didn't have MMS.

Turns out that while the Mobile Network APN is filled in automatically with "phone", you still have to manually enter the APN settings under the text settings. And the page with all the APN settings is wrong--the Proxy address is missing a :80.

When I first installed 1055--never had a problem with the 10.2.0.xxxx leaks--I had done a security wipe first, and that knocked out my Mobile Network APN settings, but left blank fields for me to enter them, which I did. then I entered the MMS APN settings but could never get it to work.

The problem apparently was that instead of "Proxy Address : proxy.mobile.att.net:80" I had only "Proxy Address : proxy.mobile.att.net" which is what the info sheet gave as the proxy settings for AT&T.

I ended up doing a complete reinstall of 1055, but no security wipe, and then the Mobile Network for AT&T already had the APN filled in--only the word "phone", and I couldn't enter anything else.

Again I went to the MMS settings APN and entered the "Proxy Address : proxy.mobile.att.net" without the :80 after it--and no go.

I then put in the APN settings with MMSC Address: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net and Proxy Address : proxy.mobile.att.net:80 , and now I get MMS without a problem.

What I don't know is whether it would have worked before reinstalling the 1055 and entering the Mobile Network APN of "phone" when those fields were open to entering text, which they are not after the reinstall without the security wipe.

Hope this isn't confusing. Bottom line, if you have AT&T and haven't yet reinstalled 1055 but had done a wipe and have the Mobile Network APN fields open, try putting in "phone" (without the quotes) in the Name field, and maybe the otter settings, too, MMSC Address: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net and Proxy Address : proxy.mobile.att.net:80. For sure also enter these two settings under the MMS settings APN.

I am now getting all MMS messages immediately. Before this was fixed, there would be a several hour (!) delay in getting the messages from AT&T, and then it was only text and no picture. Somehow the AT&T system must have recognized that I didn't have the APN set up correctly and I wouldn't even get the picture-less messages for hours. Strange.
Omg! You are a star! Works now!
    Thanks!

I'm just playing, I've only ever seen that reduced font when I had some incompatible cod, in a hybrid I was compiling. Have you done a hard reset?

I'm sure it's not the only one that causes this but it sure as H is one of them, or possibly a combo including that one.

    Thanks for your kind words.

It was mostly a matter of being compulsive. As in most computer issues, the smallest detail is important, and when you don't know what that detail is, it makes things doubly frustrating.

In this case, I had even called AT&T and they had assured me that my settings were correct, but they asked if there wasn't some place to put the port number. (80). I said I didn't see where to put it. In past instances like this there had been a field for the port number. Turns out, of course, that it only had to be appended to the line as :80. So simple, but you have to know that, which I didn't until I saw the earlier post with the correct parameters.

It's gratifying to have been able to solve this problem for a lot of people. Of course all those iPhone "plug and players" out there will never know the joy of dealing with such arcane problems. I feel sorry for them. They don't know what they're missing. :-)

I don't know what to ask Verizon, but do you have this link? Internet Settings / APN Settings / MMS Settings TheUnlockr

Under United States, Verizon, it gives parameters without an MMS port, while AT&T gave the MMS port as 80. But the VZW parameters are very different from those of AT&T, and ask for your phone number as part of a user name, etc. You might try entering the suggested APN settings in that link, maybe fool around with some combinations. Or call Verizon and try to talk with a higher level tech support person and run the APN settings by them.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them. They wanted to send me to RIM....hahahahahahaaha
They said they can't give me the info. I would have to set my phone back on the official software...no f*ing way!

Just to let everyone know....none of that info helped. SO if you are VZW and have anything more than what's there, I'd love to know. When I get the proper info I will post here for all the world to see, regardless of what VZW thinks.

I wouldn't give up so quickly--the link I gave you was right about AT&T, I just didn't know how to use the information.

Question--did you do a security wipe after the 1055 install? That is, is the Mobile Network APN field capable of being filled in or not? If not, what does the APN show?

And what are the available fields in the text-settings-advanced-APN? They are different according to whether you did a wipe or not.

    Did a security wipe yes.
APN field let's me change the info but will not save it
    Says vzwapp
    asks for username and password

    MMSC asks for url
    proxy url
    proxy username and proxy password

Tried various combos. Haven't hit the right one yet. BB specialist at VZW (yes BlackBerry refused me unless I paid for support) is trying all sorts of combos too.

My APN needs to be changed but when I change it, it won't stick, won't save. So that's the problem I guess. I am going to be without unless I reload 1055....which I am not going to do.

Let me look around and I'll get back to you in a while. By the way, I assume you clicked on "save" at the bottom of the APN screens. I think there is a "save" button on the Mobile Network screen as well as on the text settings, but can't recall. When you do click save it does't seem to do anything but it does save it, or at least it did on mine. But I'll be back.
