My point is what worker good on 10.1 should work at least same way if not better on 10.2. I also know the semantics of OS n apps. My whole focus was with same apps running /usage i got 10 hour backup on 10.1 MR n 6 hour on 10.2

I agree, that it would be nice to have had that be the case. The fact is that OS 10.1 and OS 10.2 are completely different core systems. Think of it in terms of education. OS 10.0 is elementary school, basic start up education where you develop skill sets. OS 10.1 is Junior HS - or middle school - Skills sets are already developed, and just need fine tuning. OS 10.2 is High School, nothing is carrier over from the other schooling other than the Frame Work.

So, yes it is all education, but not the SAME education. If it was, the OS wouldn't be able to mature. If maturity is stagnant, what's the purpose in development?

All though most CORE system apps are not compatible with STL-1 devices, from what's been confirmed, the version of Maps I posted is too far out of series to work on 1047.

What will NOT work, and I forgot to make this very clear, is that the 810 runtime will not work on STL-1 devices. ONLY STL-2,3, and 4.
Ok, im using stl-1 and had sideloaded 810 runtime, the question is do i have to delete 810 runtime and install 1047 runtime or can i keep using my phone with 810 runtime?

Mecca EL and khilafet, I'm on STL-1 running OS 1047.
I deleted 1047 runtime using Sachesi and then installed 810.
It has been running buttery smooth with no issues whatsoever, except for the crashing 10.2.0.65 maps
Mecca EL, can you give me the download link for the 'original' bar of 1047 maps? Thanks a lot!

I have the same issue with khilafet, no hard reset upon holding both volume buttons (only screenshot), no matter for how long I press them.
I always resorted to holding the power button.
I think the volume buttons hard reset only work on Q10?
    (I'm on Z10.)

That's strange for sure. While seemingly not recommended by some, physically pull/replace the battery and see what happens

Volume up and down doesn't work in STL100-1.

Mecca, I think there is a misconception here. I'm an STL1 User, and the 810 runtime has been working great for me. I sideloaded both the sys.android and the sys.android.shell files since the day you posted links to them.

I have been able to sideload and run a lot of apps without debug token. e.g. Gmaps 7.0.2, Candy Crush, Spotify, Vine, Subway Surfers, Google now and a few others. I think for those STL 1 users it's not working for, must have gotten something wrong.

Agreed. Sucks too, because the start screen is sooooo much cooler than the leaked/official versions

Ugh and that's a tease... not just because it's cool but also because that means that you have it for testing and have been playing with it. Hopefully you all can make a solid hybrid (looking at you Wu)

With 810 you shouldn't have to use the debug token, but it won't hurt anything. On 1047 however certain apps will need the debug.
