I am having a strange issue. When I reboot the phone and even when I first loaded the OS SMS takes forever to start working correctly. I can open a SMS conversation but nothing is there. The keyboard will come up but it won't let me send. If I open any other SMS conversation it always shows me the last conversation that I had so for instance I am talking to person A last. I got to my conversation with person B and it still shows person A. This eventually clears up after about 5 minutes and everything works great that is until I reboot again. Anyone else have this issue?
I guess you have a collected quite a few SMS by now and they are long conversations?
    There is your explanation too.

    JUST BRICKED MY Z10!!!!!!!

while trying to update both my Q10 and Z10 to 4651....accidentally clicked on the wrong .rar file and extracted the SQN to the wrong devive (z10O STE-100).

Now I'm getting the dreaded incompatible radio image loaded on device message on the Z.

Any ideas on how to restore my Z10 to ANY OS that will boot and get a link to a working 4651 os on there to match my Q10?

I followed this link and downloaded from here: https://mega.co.nz/#!49llgQoD!XcHytR...riL9g_CcBPk52o

Worked great with the Q10 but the Z10 exe file wasn't working which is how I accidentally clicked on the wrong one.

    Uh oh...
I would try soft bricking your phone (turn it off, start an autoloader - preferably the right one - and once it starts writing files pull the USB plug. It'll cause the LED to flash green) and then reload the proper OS again. It shouldn't be a permanent issue.

How did you get that to work? Mine won't let me add #17 to the folder.

Entirely by accident -- I had 16 apps in a folder and dropped another one in there, and it went in. Didn't realize I had done it until I opened it later and said "heh, where did it go?" -- looked at the top level (it usually just forces it back to the top) and nope -- wasn't there. Swiped in the folder and.... there it was.

I forgot to mention I want three extra browsers on my device for personal use. So I need to rename them and remove sys prefs so they are deletable.

But yeah, normally you just upload a bar file in its existing state.

Ahhh......gotcha. I definitely can't offer any help there. Good luck.

Just jumped to 4651 from 4537 on my 100-1. Restore worked perfectly by following popular suggestions on these forums; bbm chats, sms, apps, everything! I'll comment on battery life compared to the last leak I was running as soon as I spend a couple of days with it.

So far I'm just happy everything went smoothly. Will check if it helps battery readings after performing the upgrade on a full battery with a bad reading.

Stl1 user. Restore worked perfect. Last leak I tried, I guess 4543 didn't have a good battery. I hope this leak has a battery comparable to 2354. Thanks!!!

Just installed this on my stl100-4 on Verizon and for some reason it keeps kicking me off wifi. My fianc has the same phone with 10.1.0.2354 and doesn't get booted. Anyone have this problem? As always I followed basic auto loader rules and did a security wipe when the install was compete.

    Thanks for any help!

I have a -4 and when I used this leak I had some issues with my radio. Going to 4687 seems to have solved that problem nicely.

A tip for the STL100-1, 2 and 3 users. In case you want to upgrade and not lose the SMS, upgrade to 10.1.0.4633 using Sachesi. This build has released officially on Digicel, Jamaica.
    MNC: 338
    MCC: 50

Since Sachesi is a nondestructive upgrade, you should be able to retain your SMS while upgrading to MR.
From there on all backups are fully compatible and you should be able to use your backup on 4633 on any of the MR including this one.

Didn't try this myself, but should just work fine.

PS: Remember to take your backup before any update just in case something goes wrong while using Sachesi.

Here's my battery usage for yesterday. STL100-1. On 4537 it shut down my Z10 at 30%. Now it looks it went down to around 15% for shutdown. So I guess it kinda helped the battery reading?

First couple of hours were abominable for usage, even on wifi only, and then it kinda settled. On top of that I made sure all apps were working perfectly after restore and spent a whole lot of time getting my contacts in proper order [rant about contacts app] linking them and sometime unlinking them. Hope to get better battery life today.

    @retomex

Try this method for your problem with a battery.

    Right Here we go.
1.) Run Battery until it shuts down.
2.) Take out battery, Sim and SD Card, "Not Sure this does anything but i did it"
3.) Take An voltmeter "0% Battery Reading comes fom 3.3V (Seen this reading on another post somewhere)
4.) Leave Battery out for about an hour.
5.) Fit Battery, Sim and sd. And power cable with charge head without plugging it in.
6.) Hold power button on phone for couple of minutes.
7.) Plug Into power outlet and let phone switch on. Once on Check battery %.
    8.)remove once full.

N.b Something i did not post this morning i needed to set the date and time. Again Which tells me the if it has a little memory battery inside the phone which allows for swapping batteries etc without having to reset the time.

8.40PM currently on 39% battery, running some videos to drain and check result.
9.19PM Currently on 27% batter, Playing music, taking some pics to drain faster, still on

Has anyone started having problems with the voice assistant in this build? Every time i open up the assistant, it says my contacts have not been indexed yet and it may not work. I would think after 3-4 days that it would be indexed.

The main problem is that anytime i want to use the assistant to call someone, for example, peter mayer, it comes back with the following: Unable to find Peter air in your contacts list.

I found that the builds before this worked way way way better. But, i probably sound crazy as it may be controlled server side for voice interpretation.

Anyone else experiencing this? I was thinking about trying the latest 87 build or whatever.

Happy to report battery life is so much better than 4537!

Here's my battery guru report on last charge. I still have the % misreading. It shutdown at 20% again.

@AleksanVuk I'm gonna try your fix sometime today or tomorrow. I have another battery which was already charged and I'm gonna waste it on Angry Birds.

Well, I just passed the 48 hour mark with .4651. I may just stick with this for a while, since it seems to be working so well for me.

It restored my remote file access (a big one for me!) and has given me battery life I haven't seen since .1880. Another big deal is the radio. I'm actually getting LTE almost everywhere I go now -- this has never happened before.
Agreed. Battery life increased by large margin, and LTE access very much better. These two factors alone will likely stop me from going to any other version before 10.2 is released.

Best. Warning. Ever. Not only do you work on a leak, you offer assistance for those of us who may not pay attention to the instructions.

You sir, are a role model! Thanks for all your hard work, just restoring my backup and eagerly looking forward to using 4651...
I second this heartily. 4651 was the first leaked OS I've ever installed, and I was very apprehensive b/c my BlackBerry is key to my work. I'm happy to say that the process was smooth and faultless. I made sure to list everything that people had suggested thru a number of forums, and sincerely thank thurask, wu wei, darcy, kris for the help and advice. And of course mecca for the leak. You guys are champs! The OS is smooth & fast, with greatly increased battery life and LTE access.
