You need to login on your blackberry ID on the phone before you can restore.
I also did a restart on both the phone and the PC and for me, after this restore worked like a charm.

try to give some more info please. like backup os version, link version, what did you do to fix this... knowing some stuff makes easier for people to help. also, try to use search, the restore issue happened to a lot of us here and some managed to make it work using very different ways.

take a look here , hopefully this will work for you too.

If WiFi calling is not working call T-Mobile customer support and make sure you're provisioned right. They have to have your physical "home" address in their system for E911 and in addition there are a couple of no-cost options that have to be on your account or it won't connect.
Thank You, I'll contact T-Mobile then to follow up; my Wifi / UMA calling worked just fine on my prior 9900, but perhaps those options were removed once I switched to my Awesome Z10 (unlocked) ;-)

So if you don't want to use the autoloaders, then you can consider using Sachesi to pull the files and do an upgrade. Just thought I should put it out there.
a autoloader is the ~1GB.exe we download, isnt it?
and what options do we have else to install a OS without such a installer?

OR why is a autoloader "bad"?

    Hi audrey,

I had this "can't restore" once. What i did to finally managed to restore everything was doing the security wipe after the OS install. The device will turn off automatically and need to turn on manually. Follow the setup procedure and insert your bbid when asked. After all the setup done, restore immediately afterwards without doing the sideload of Android apps first . Some prefer to sideload first before the restore in order to get all the settings of those apps back, but with my device i never succeed with such way.

And just to make sure, use the 1.1.1.32 BlackBerry link which is the latest one.

Julien, if you go to http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-ti...chibar-812685/ you'll find instructions on how to load a new OS. Then go to the first post of this thread and read it all thoroughly so you're sure you understand. These two combined will tell you all you need to know.

Sachesi shows 4537 for LIME Jamaica (338 - 180) and LIME Barbados (342 - 600). I didn't check for Trinidad or any of the other islands.
This is very interesting -- the STL100-1 version comes up on those as 4537 (!) but none of the other variants do.

But the STL100-1 version's firmware is NOT cross-loadable, correct? Or is it just the RADIO FILE that isn't?

An autoloader is a destructive load. Using Sashesi to overload the OS does NOT wipe data.

Thanks all of you for the help but the way that PD in T-DOT and Balenax is working.

Thanks to you to abramadhi but your way i have already tried but it isn't working as expected. Guess i had to use the long way that consumes lots of my time instead. But all in all, thanks everyone!

Other model versions are on the production server too just not whitelisted by any carrier.

There is one thing I'm really curious about, and that us the security wipe after install. Wouldn't it be better theoretically to wie it before running the autoloader, as that would do the install on a clean device?
Or is there a benefit of doing it after?

Ralfyguy, the use of security wipe after autoloader is to clean up leftover fragments from the autoloader...

Can some one try out the calculator for me? I found a weird bug in 4543 when calculating tax. Try something like 1600 * 106%, the 106% changes to 1696 before hitting =. Was working fine in the older os versions.
    Well 1696 is the answer...6*16=96...
