Alright before this gets out of hand, let me say here it IS correct, the clock was on Zulu time [UTC] when the phone was booted, when he loaded regionalization by way of having the phone connect to the carrier it set the timezone to Eastern Daylight Time [EDT] like on the East Cost, United States where I am, and I'm sure he is to this is T+0 - T-5 = T-5 Then he said this was 3 hours ago so that means take T-5 + T+3 = T+2
So the boot time should be T+2 or 2 hours ahead of the local time in the Eastern Daylight Timezone

Hey, everyone !
If someone would be kind enough, could you please explain me what "wifi calling" means? What does it do? Is it available only to some network providers or countries ? I tried to find this feature on my Q10 from Orange Romnia, but I was unsuccesful.
Thank you in advance.

Posted via CB10
Wifi calling is a service offered by some carriers that allows you to make/recieve calls and texts over wifi instead of the mobile network.

So what was the solution mecca?

Posted via CB10
I had them remove the battery, SIM, and sd card, connect to their computer and start the autoloader. It connected to the bootrom and installed the OS. BUT...after reinstallation, the device requested a MEP code. Never had that happen, but I DO know that that is in fact a SIM error, and had them visit their carrier. I'll let you read the rest, maybe that will shut up the commenter below you...

" No worries. Remove your battery, sim and sd card, then connect your phone to your computer. Also, use another usb port, and make sure you're using the correct usb cord. Start the autoloader, and wait for it to connect to your phone. If it doesn't, let me know.
Hey thanks so much for replying. I did that, and it totally worked and unbricked the phone. However, now it wants a MEP code. How should I proceed?
Holy crap!! It should not be asking for your mep. Were you able to recover and install the os? If so, disconnect, install your sim, and battery, and tell me what happens next
I was able to reload the OS. Even with the SIM in the phone, it is still requiring the MEP code.
Hmmm...contact AT&T's CS, and tell them your phone is asking for the MEP code, and the device is disabled. You've just won a free unlock code. I've never heard of that happening before. Once they give you the code, you'll have an unlocked device!
Alright man, I'll take care of it in the morning. Thanks again so much for your help. Have a good night.
Anytime. Keep me posted
Went to ATT this morning and got a new SIM card, problem solved. Thanks again.
"
How do I use IMAP on my email accounts. Example Gmail and yahoo

As far as I know Gmail uses IMAP can't say 100% about Yahoo. I know for GoDaddy you have to be on an Unlimited Email plan to use IMAP.

Here's how you can enable IMAP in Gmail:

Enable IMAP in your Gmail settings

Sign in to Gmail.
Click the gear in the top right.
Select Settings.
Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Select Enable IMAP.
Click Save Changes.

So I've been on this leak since last night. Battery life is amazing, took it off the charger around 6am, averaged use, pictures, uploading to FB and couple of calls. After 8 hours the phone was still around 80% according to BeBuzz. Between the 12th and the 16th hour I noticed the battery level start to drop. I was around 20% after the 16th hour with heavy usage of the phone. Side loaded apps, BlackBerry maps, phone calls, WhatsApp, and Spotify were used during that time.
Contacts work, personal calls go through and BeBuzz detects them. My only issue is RFA. I have tried everything listed in the forums as well as some research on other sites. Last night and this morning under the media share section my laptop I address was displayed and now it shows the laptop name but still no access. It's not a bug concern as I still can wife access my Z10 from link and also I can wife side load apps. The RFA was an added bonus if I was blocked from the TV from my wife who wanted to watch something I had no interest in. I use Dropbox and box to access files off of my laptop anyway so the sole purpose was to watch movies.

Oh thank you everyone who has posted tips and assistance in the thread and in the forums and a big thank you to Mecca for this leak. Hopefully nothing new is leaked tomorrow or Monday.

What moves you, my Z10

Thanks to all who provided the leaks and the support. Great job one and all!

For persons sitting on the fence, waiting for the official MR. Surprise! These last leaks seems to be the official MR for some carriers. For example, LIME in the Caribbean has offered their customers 10.1.0.4537 as an update some time this week. So if you don't want to use the autoloaders, then you can consider using Sachesi to pull the files and do an upgrade. Just thought I should put it out there.

A little assistance please....? I decided to revert from 10.2.0.93 to try this 10.1 for the battery life and Wifi calling, and I used Darcy's tool to mod my 10.2 backup to 10.1.0.4651 and Everything successfully Restored, except my Remember Notes, Password Keeper content, BBM chats, and VVMs, plus I'm on T-Mobile, and cannot seem to connect to Wifi calling, what am I doing wrong??? Thank You in Advance for any helpful feedback!

If WiFi calling is not working call T-Mobile customer support and make sure you're provisioned right. They have to have your physical "home" address in their system for E911 and in addition there are a couple of no-cost options that have to be on your account or it won't connect.

Which LIME? Got an MCC/MNC for that? I checked the ones in the Wikipedia list and all are offering either 10.0.10.99 or similar. I didn't see a 4537 listed anywhere.

Usually the apps appear in the language of the os. But, as you have mentioned that maps are n Arabic I guess you don't want Arabic. On my q10 running this leak, the maps app is ok; it is in English if I set the os to EN, it is in french, if I set the os to FR etc. Have you sideloaded another maps bar ?

Okay, I had good battery the first day 0.04-0.07W discharge rate on idle, second day, I am having 0.5W at it's lowest throughout the entire day. Whenever I use it, it hits 2.5W or 3.0W.

What can happen in one day LATER that it bumps up usage 10 times more?

I tried turning off my radio and it's the same, so it's the OS doing the heavylifting. Nothing new installed and didn't run any sideloaded apps. I have 3 emails, facebook twitter, evernote and calendar as well as contacts syncing on one email. Sync intervals are 24 hours and 1 hour for my main account. Link is turned off, wifi was on and off when not being used. No apps except for Battery Guru were running.

Yes, wiped, twice and all.

To the people that had this happen to them, does it get better after several days?

Okay Mecca, I did another battery pull, and that fixed my battery consumption problem. It seems that a few regular battery pulls after installation probably is a good idea. It's been a really champ for me.

Sachesi shows 4537 for LIME Jamaica (338 - 180) and LIME Barbados (342 - 600). I didn't check for Trinidad or any of the other islands.

Hey all,
Curious to hear if anyone else is experiencing issues with notification profile not being able to set different ring tones per individual profile.
If I set the ring tone to say file a in 'Normal' the same ring tone is also set in 'Phone Calls Only' profile.

Also, is anyone experiencing issues using WiFi? My WiFi performance is crap, yeah for being grandfathered in on AT&T unlimited.

Thanks and look forward to hearing feedback.

Cheers

This is part of the MR series of OS, scheduled to be released by carriers - no actual eta on when that will happen.
There are much newer enhancements and core app updates. New features such as Simple Pin - which is a user selectable password that you can set to unlock your device, versus the standard long string of alphanumerics; setup screen has be shortened; android runtime is improved, etc.

No one can tell you if this OS will work better on your device than it works on there's, we all have the same NAME device but they are completely different in every way. You will have to install and experience improvements OR determents yourself. Come join those who have crossed over. This may work wonders for your device.
