Don't be ridiculous, you have no idea what you're talking about.

All he needs to do is PM the pin to SirJes, and we can test it via Sachesi. BlackBerry will have no idea.

Unless they are reading this rofl. But that's not the point. BlackBerry won't lay charges.

No, they would have no idea. The PIN would be PMed and all they would see on their server is a software update request from that PIN.

Nothing suspicious at all, but god job scaring him off.

I guess his whole idea with starting this thread is to help us all get this software release, so I don't think he would change his mind anyway.

BlackBerry already has his PIN. They can look up whatever OS you are running even when not on BIS. And the BES program is quite nice and they DO have OTA notifications for new OS downloads if your PIN is whitelisted.

Done... I will post a screen shot of the OS version once its finished booting up. I will note the startup squarish circle (NOT to be confused with the Squircle) appears more purple on the right side then I remember it. I seem to remember it being variants of blue, but now I am definitely seeing purple. Then again maybe I am just seeing things because I am looking for them?

there's no icon for google play and the camera doesn't have a panorama mode.

Any way I can pull out the version of the core files?

Maybe this is a **** up on EE's part trying something out. It does seem very strange - mind you their My EE app on appworld is dated today
Fug, the one feature i've been looking for (Panorama) and it's not there yet..... 10.0...10.1....10.2.... c'mon man

It says the OS VER is 1927 and build is 537. So that means if I'm on 1927 OS and they launch build 541 tomorrow the build is higher and the OS Version remains the same. Can someone clarify the difference and what they really mean?

OS would be 1927, and that's the core OS on its own. Software release would be 537, and that's the package deal of the OS, all the core system apps, the radio, etc.

A lot of the leaks have the software release listed as "not available" because they weren't ever officially bundled for release, just testing, and don't need a version number. Official updates, and most leaks obtained through carrier testing versions have a Software Release.
