Has someone restored from a .1xxx/.2xxx build and had their text messages restore properly?

No spare bytes. you're close, but not matching what I've been using.

    Example - 0x019C records = 412
First PIN is represented by the following 4 bytes (in hex)
    E9 B1 2D 2A
Reverse those bytes to get the PIN
    2A 2D B1 E9

    2nd is E1 B1 2D 2A (or PIN = 2A 2D B1 E1)

I think you started at the last byte of the first PIN and took them in order
    -------1st-------------2nd--------
    E9 B1 2D 2A | E1 B1 2D 2A
Then I get something wrong about the decoding. How do you convert those hex codes from to another... I couldn't get the same result, no matter how I try.

No more simple password in this build...

EDIT: Never mind, there is an option to turn it on.

Adam Szucs, when I split the STL 1 autoloader, I saw a .Signed file named unidentified.signed. Is that the PIN block file?

On a side note, my phone is rebooting now - once done, I will be able to restore and see how it goes...

I decided to remove all Android apps prior to backing up (can replace Skype and Osmand as well as M8 and the task manager easily).
(And I am not entirely sure if they might not be a part of the odd drain issue... Osmand ran better after I removed and reinstalled Skype...)

Thanks guys, the STL 1 file is only 2kb in size, is that correct Adam? And also all I have to do is to live it out of the autoloader, right?

Don't let some inconsiderate, impatient people get to you, man, you can always use the block tool for people like that.
Totally agree. Misery loves company and some people seem to be happy when they make others miserable.

It would make sense - I think there was mention of around 400 entries (vs. 2400 - 5 times as many and 5 times the size between STL100-1 and 2/3/4).
STL100-1 is sold in less countries with quite possibly fewer models sold. STL100-2/3/4 are the prevalent models the way I see/understand it.

Yes, 2224 bytes. And yes, you don't repackage it (also you can't do it, as Darcy mentioned that is signed slightly differently), just the OS and radio file, and you have a clean autoloader

    Excellent!!
Installed no black list on Q10 (not that I have to worry :P) & all went well
BBM with channels installed - dark calendar installed
Everything went faster - install faster - restore faster - hub update faster etc etc (or seemed to)
Big thanks to all involved !

The Q10 uses a black theme for many of its apps - it's not something that the Z10 can use at all. The app is the same as the Z10 uses, but it determines what hardware it's running on and loads the appropriate theme (if it exists)

At one point the black theme was removed from the calendar app. To get it back Q10 users have been loading an older version that still has the black theme.

Haha. It was 38 here in California yesterday. Gonna be around 40 some time this week. My computer has been getting pretty hot lately, specially with all these leaks being downloaded.

Almost done with this one and readying everything for the install.
